Our tub and sink backed up while taking showers and brushing our teeth. Maintenance wasnā€™t available and there werenā€™t any other rooms available to move us to. The entire 8th floor reeked of cigarette smoke like a dirty ashtray. The overall appearance of the hotel looked nice and clean until you started using things to fin them broken or cheap. Guest services did take a discount off the room, but not sure I would stay there again. The location seemed great location for Bank of America Stadium. However, we went to the CVS across the street and witnessed a guy come in pretend to scan groceries and then stuff them in his jacket and ran out of the store. The clerk said sheā€™s not even worried about because just 3 hours earlier she was held up at knife point where another person came in the store to rob it. She said she wasnā€™t risking her life to say anything to them.

Everything about my stay was great. I was greeted by James and he was tremendous! Went above and beyond with his customer service. Helped me out in a few ways. Room was clean and I had a great view! Definitely going to stay again.
