The property was nice however we had to switch rooms because of gnats but that didnā€™t help because there were more in the other room as well. We didnā€™t change rooms or up to another hotel because it was late.

Pictures are misleading for the rooms. They are outdated and fairly dingy, but the staff do a nice job of doing the best with what theyā€™ve got. The staff are excellent, the young lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful and cheerful, as well as other staff on site. The elevator was really dirty, looks like the floor hadnā€™t been vacuumed for a week. I may have been paranoid after the elevator but also felt a bit itchy sleeping in the bed, not sure if I can vouch for the cleanliness of the place. The aircon in the room was extremely noisy so we couldnā€™t have it turned on whilst in the room and there was also an unpleasant odour to the room.

Check-in and staff were great. Friendly, helpful, etc... The hotel itself has some challenges... WiFi is slow. They offered to move my room, but I went around the hotel testing it, and it has troubles in many areas during evening hours when everyone was there. No breakfast despite pics making it look like there's an area - there is, but apparently not permitted. No restaurant/bar. Again in the pics, but not permitted. Fitness center was rough. Elliptical needed an overhaul and the dumbbells were mismatched and no pairs at lower weights up to 25 or 30. I even called ahead to ask about the fitness area and they said it was all good... Not so much. Rooms have floor standing window A/C's, so be aware of that also. Ice machine on the second floor was closed for "cleaning" the whole time I was there. Had to go to the 6th floor. It's near the passenger train station and you can definitely hear that. I used white noise app and it drowned it out. There were definitely some shady people hanging around the property at night, and I'm pretty sure I saw a drug deal going down around midnight... They seem to be working on their property overall, so there will probably be improvements coming in the future.

There were bugs in our bathroom and on our toilet paper, the tv wasnā€™t working, the thermostat wasnā€™t working properly, there is no breakfast, the rooms were not as clean as they could have been either. The staff is great, everyone was welcoming! It is not their fault that this place is run poorly. It looks nice on the outside but the inside needs some renovations and cleaning.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. Our room was spotless and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Cynthia (at the front desk) was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again
