Great location, Great Food.
This hotel is great for the cost, just what you need for trying to ski on a budget. The food is lovely, rooms clean, location right next to the ski lift. The people there were so helpful, our Saturday night flight was cancelled due to storm Dennis in the uk so we decided at the last minute to get an earlier flight home, the gentlemen at reception said he would take all our ski's (13 sets back) to the rental shop and left coffee for our 4am departure.

Very nice hotel, exceeded my expectations
We stayed half board during half term week to ski with a group of friends including children aged 6-11. The hotel was clean, warm and spacious. Staff were friendly and tolerant of our noisy children. There was storage for skis. Breakfast was served from 7.30 and lessons started from Pre La Joux so we had to get a move on to get the ski bus for the 9am lessons but we made it. You could walk to Linga to start skiing but we could not find instruction from here. The food was nice but with no choices in the evenings for fussy eaters. Dinner did not start until 7pm, so younger children might struggle. Would recommend.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast
Great hotel well located. We enjoyed our one night stay in between two days of skiing at the Portes du Soleil. The breakfast was outstanding: a lot of choices for drinks and food. Cheese and meat platter, crepes, croissant and fresh bread.

Very friendly hotel right next to the Linga lift
If a spacious, luxurious room is your highest priority this hotel probably isn't for you. But all the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, the food is good, the rooms are clean, and the position couldn't be better - right next to the Linga telecabin with easy access to both Avoriaz and Super-Chatel. No need for buses at the end of the day!

Great location, great staff, what's not to like
The hotel is 100 yards from the Linga lift, right in the middle of the Porte de Solei ski area. Its perfect for good skiers, but probably not the right place for beginners, since the skiing is limited if you are uncomfortable with a slightly tricky red run to get back at the end of the day... If that doesn't bother you, then Linga is better connected with the rest of the ski area than the main "Super-Chatel" part.

Great for skiers, not for night life.
If you go skiing to ski as opposed to apres ski then this place is perfect. It has car parking and is right next to the best lift in Chatel for acces to local and other Portes du Soleil ski areas. The staff were excellent and very willing to help or advise if they could. Our room had not been booked on checkout day so they let us keep it to enable a shower and bag pack before driving to Geneva airport for our evening flight home. We are vegetarian and although the menu was not over endowed with vegetarian options the chef was very happy to arrange something special for the nights that we eat in - and the hotel food was good. Also a very good buffet breakfast, and you must try the fresh hand cut fruit salad made each day with fresh sparkling water & light sugar. The down side is that it is in an area away from Chatel town & night life and bars. There are taxis and buses available. Personally that wasn't a problem and a few pleasant beers in the bar at the bottom of the gondola at the end of the day watching the last skiers descend followed by walking 50 yards to the hotel & bar was fine.
