This property has been in our family for over 100 years. My grandfather (Pawpaw) built this house himself in the mid 1980ās. He stayed busy into his early 90ās; he enjoyed mowing his own yard, cutting his own fire wood, building deer stands and fighting off beavers and alligators. He loved nature and all it had to offer-duck hunting, deer hunting and, well, just about any kind of hunting. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, squirrels, and deer on his property.
His pride and joy was the pond. He loved to help and watch the generations of his family fish in his pond. He would wait to feed the fish when the great grand kids were around just to watch their faces light up. If you reeled in a big one he would get the scale so he could weigh it. If it was a āgood oneā heād sometimes make you toss it back to grow bigger.
