Beautiful cottage with private beach

This beautiful 3 bedroom cottage has all the modern conveniences of home. Enjoy the sunset on the cottage's balcony or sit out on the waterfront deck to enjoy the view and sound of the lake which is located across the road from the cottage property. Experience views of nature from various rooms within the property; fireplace sitting room, second floor den or front living room.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, the first main floor bedroom has two twin beds and the 3rd bedroom contains twin-sized bunk beds. Additional sleeping spaces can be found in the 'fireplace' sitting room.

There is a full sized kitchen which has an electric stove, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave. All cooking and dining utensils are also available.

In addition to the main cottage, there are two cottage shed living spaces on the property. These cottage sheds can accommodate 2 people in each. Power can be run from the main house or we have solar panelled electricity packages which can also be used. There is an associated outhouse with shower and composting toilet that can be used while enjoying the beach.

The Bluff Line Cottage is located close to Wheatley Provincial Park (5 mins), Leamington (15 mins) and Point Pelee (20 mins).

Not Ready for Guests
Overall a nice little house but did not seem to be ready for guests. Yard was not maintained and all the decks and patios were covered in cobwebs and bugs. We kept finding open perishable food (like bread and cucumbers) in cabinets and the fridge, uncomfortable beds ... but worst of all the lack of air conditioning and even screens in most windows was the terrible. Having to call the owner 3 days after booking to get any info was also frustrating. We told ourselves we were camping and made the best of it but cannot recommend to others.

Great Stay
All as planned and as expected. We were on a Birding trip rob Pelee so we were not around the house during the day. Essentials like WiFi worked well and all was comfortable.

Great place for families to spend time together
This was a great place for our family to meet for the weekend! Beautiful, quiet location on Lake Erie. The cottage has an open floor plan with great views of the lake with a lovely balcony off the second floor master suite. Tastefully decorated and comfortable furniture throughout. There's only one bathroom and the hot water heater needs to be turned on prior to showering which was a little inconvenient.

Endroit magnifique
