Very cleanly and very friendly staff. The pool could have been cleaner but, it was a fun time for the family. Beds were pretty comfortable.

It has changed so much and not in a good way! The staff was great HOWEVER the pool was hard to enjoy! The walls were rusted and the caution tape around the jacuzzi made us cut the pool real short real quick! There was food and trash on the stairs like there was a food fight and the amount of kids running around unattended was unnerving! Not to mention music blasting until 2 am

My stay here was terrible! First of all check in was at 3pm we got there at 330pm after a 5 hour Drive. We were not able to check in because there were no rooms ready. Then once we checked in the room was filthy! The room smelled and was very stuffy. The curtains in the bedroom were coming down. The rug had several stains. The bathroom was filthy! It smelled of mildew or mold. The tub was dirty. The sink had hair and dirt in it. Around the toilet was dirty. There were boogers in the shower and on the wall. My overall experience here was terrible! And the pool was filthy and disgusting. The hot tub did not work. I would never stay here again!

Elevator broken for months rooms are not cleaned to acceptable standards. mold under soap dishes in the tub socks and debris left by others under beds and couches rusted door frames by floors

when I arrives they said they don’t have a room was fully booked. they offered me a next to their Hotel which was not equivalent to what I paid . But I was forced to accept due to the late hours. No other options.

The stay at the Embassy Suites in Wilmington was ok, but this hotel is in need of better maintenance and service. In regards to the maintenance, only one elevator was working at the property causing long wait times and the down button on our floor was broken. The ice machine on our floor was also broken and the couch in our suite had sediments on it and clearly needed to be re-vacuumed. The staff was generally nice, but often disturbed us in our room. During our first morning, the house cleaning staff knocked on our door to inquire about cleaning the room, and when they didn't receive a response proceeded to open our door without consent. Our family was here for a family reunion and was told there would be a happy hour as was consistent in the past, but when we arrived were informed that the property "lost the liquor license" and would not be serving alcohol. We made due without during that time, but felt that was deceitful from Embassy Suites. Overall the stay was ok and definitely could've have been better, but the other accommodations sufficed for our reunion.

Staff were very nice, especially the staff working in the breakfast area. The refrigerator in our room was dirty and we had to request to have it changed. We could hear entire conversations and television sounds from either side of our room. The temperature in the hallways outside the room were uncomfortably hot.

I’ve stayed here at least once a year and this is the last time. The change in ownership has shown based off of my experience this stay. It was definitely not a 8/10 type of hotel. At most maybe a 7/10. The pool was so cloudy, and the hot tub had a nasty looking layer floating on the top of the water. Was very disappointed. Only one elevator was working. Also the 6th floor felt like a Sauna after stepping off the elevator. Thank goodness the rooms were at a good temperature so it was definitely a relief getting into the room. The rooms were clean and tidy. However we had to call down to get sheets and a pillow for the pull out mattress. The service at the front desk was great. But when we came back to the room and the bedding for the pullout couch was on the floor at our door. The evening cocktail hour and breakfast was good.

This place needs some major TLC. The pool was over chlorinated and hard to breathe in the area. Not well maintained. One of the elevators wasn’t working and the other one had been out of service for a month from what we were told. Took the stairs which is fine but there seemed to be only one staircase between all the floors. The pull out couch was an injury waiting to happen with a piece of metal sticking out. It was also the most uncomfortable to sleep on. The couch cushions were ripped as well. The bathroom had the bottom part of the door panel rusted out and gunk in the shower around the bar for help in/out of the shower. Breakfast was good and the main beds were comfortable. Will not stay again.
