Located in a more chill and less westernized area. Still many things near by for food, sights and easy walk to anywhere in old city. The host is wonderful and the place is very safe and taken care of.

My daughter and I loved our stay at the Dozy House in Chiang Mai. Besides clean amenities and laundry services, we were grateful for Jina’s assistance in choosing and reserving activities for us. When we arrived, our room key was at the front desk with a note to add the owner’s contact on WhatsApp. This is how we communicated with Jina for the duration of our stay. It was both convenient and efficient. Per her recommendation/brochures available at Dozy House, we had the pleasure of visiting Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Pha Lat, Bhubing Palace (and rose garden), the Karen Hill Tribe Elephant Sanctuary, a “Sticky Waterfall,” and took an evening cruise along the Ping River—all within four days. Highly recommended.

Excelente location!!!! The family who manage the place goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable all the time!!! They did all our laundry for about $3 !!!!, and after 2 weeks traveling there is nothing better that having all our laundry done!!! The room was great! Good and large bed!! Manger very sweet! Helped us to organize all our tours!!! And taxi at 5 am to get to the airport for departure!!! Thank you so much for such a great service!!! We strongly recommend this place for service and value!!!

Lovely comfortable stay
Overall a good stay. Large room and nice bathroom and shower. Sealed cement floor in room is a little dirty looking. Generous breakfast included. Coffee/tea/toast available 24 hours which is nice. Thin cloth bath towel ended up being very absorbent and a great alternative to traditional towels.

This hotel is not fancy, but considering I was going for budget travel, it was a really nice place. The evening front desk staff was nice and housekeeping did a great job. I loved being able to open the windows in the morning to let in the air. Breakfast was also a nice touch, but I did see an ant crawling near where the breakfast food was which made me a little uncomfortable. The room was really large and it all felt neat and clean. The drain was a little slow to drain but I think it's just an older building. The one day I was woken up very early by an unknown sound and later realized it's because the back window in my room opens up into an alleyway where the big school opens up into so I was hearing middle or high school students. The location is good BUT as a solo female traveler the long and dark street coming from the side away from the canal made me a little uncomfortable to walk alone but the walk to the street along the canal was comfortable. I'd stay here again, though. Nice people, good room and location is in the old town. Also, the front desk helped me call Ubers since I couldn't download the app on my phone.

Great hotel, quiet road accessible easily yo city centre and various many attractions, excellent service. There is no lift but who wants one with such great service at great price. Free coffee and toast 24 hours, book available at the library, very nice sitting area in the lobby.

Great Place in a quiet settings
The dozy house is a quaint family style accommodation option with spacious, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Staff and the owner are super friendly and very helpfull with local knowledge and guidance. Fully recommended as it is located in a quiet street within the heart of chiang mai easily in walking distance to all markets. They also provide tea, coffee during your stay free.

Great Stay!
THE Room Was spacious, comfortable and safe. The staff and owner at the guest house are the most caring, knowledgeable and just adorable people. They helped me out right away figuring routes, activities and ways of transportation around the old town. It is very well located within the old town and it is super easy to get food, walk to temples of hop on a red cab. Budget friendly so don't expect the ritz Carleton but definitely worth your money! The wifi in my room was touch and go but it's just a small detail.

I stayed here at Dozy House for 4 nights booked via Expedia. Check in and out was flawless. They have tourist information and you can book through reception. Staff was nice but I found that there were too many flaws to make it my perfect stay as I found a much better hotel closer to the heart of the Old City. You can tell that the hotel put a lot of love and work into modernizing the space and that was a nice first impression. For the price of one night, it is a comfortable stay. Pros: - OK location NW inside the Old City - Had powerful A/C - Water was hot - Spacious room and beautiful decor - Served water/juice/smoothies and had their own menu for food - Free tea/coffee/toast downstairs - Comfortable bed - Provided umbrellas in the lobby Cons: - Location is VERY loud as it's right beside a school and every morning 7:30 AM, I heard trumpets and drums (band camp style) - Wifi did not work 3/4 of the time and was very slow - Washroom did not have fan - Garbage did not have lids or sanitary bags as you cannot flush TP - No refrigerator/safe - No slippers in room - No elevators (but that's OK for me) - Housekeeping came too late in the day for us as we usually get back to our room by 2 PM - Thin towels, you can rent proper towels in the lobby Recommended Restaurants: There is a Chinese Noodle off the main room that was delicious (orange sign) and another restaurant off Arak under hotel name Big Tree Boutique that served the most amazing Khow Soi I've ever had!
