Not for the faint hearted.
Wonderful experience in the hills of Thailand. The Lodge is run and managed by local Hill Tribe staff. There is not much in the way of mod cons but the views and ambience are wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with mosquito nets. Fans and open air replace air conditioning but it can be hot! A little off the beaten track and not easy to find but worth the effort.

Ruhe und Erholung abseits der GroƟstadt
Wir haben hier 2 fantastische Tage verbracht und das Thailand abseits der Ć¼blichen Hotelketten kennengelernt. Der Komfort entspricht vielleicht nicht den Ć¼blichen 5 Sternen, aber dennoch sollte man diese Art der Ɯbernachtung mal gemacht haben. Das Highlight war die Aussicht ins Tal bis zum Mekong und darĆ¼ber hinaus bis Laos. Nachts hat man die Mƶglichkeit einen Sternenhimmel zu sehen, den es in Europa durch Lichtverschmutzung gar nicht mehr gibt. Das Personal versucht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfĆ¼llen. Lediglich eine Fleece-Jacke fĆ¼r die recht frischen NƤchte sollte man nicht vergessen im Koffer zu haben.

DĆ©connexion totale !!! Une petite maison pour nous tous seuls. 4 jours dans un village au bord du mekong et face au Laos avec les hmongs (tribue de montagne). Un service individualisĆ© demi pension inclue. Nous avions toute notre intimitĆ©. Un chauffeur Ć  la demande extraordinaire (pao) et idem pour le responsable de lanjia loge qui nous a fait visitĆ© le village (trĆ©s intĆ©ressant pour connaĆ®tre les traditions). Une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Une randonnĆ©e avec baignade dans une cascade. Merci Ć  vous pour votre disponibilitĆ© et votre qualitĆ© d'accueuil. Merci paĆ“ pour votre gentillesse incomparable. C'ƉTAIT MƉMORABLE. Attention: village trĆ©s retirĆ©, n'y allez pas pour le tourisme, la fĆŖte ou le shopping. Sejour plutĆ“t propice au grand calme et Ć  la meditation. Pour le reste il va falloir faire des kilomĆØtres.
