Horse Shoe House is the name of the village.
Now completely renovated, this 3 storey independent house can accommodate 8 people and has its own private courtyard with parking for one car in front of the garage for a second car.
As I loved the views and space on the top floor, which was originally the hay loft, I converted this into the living area. It has a well-equipped small kitchen, a dining room that seats 8 and a cozy lounge with large flat screen TVs and an Echo / Alexa with a vast assortment of music and radio stations 3 large windows and a suspended gallery above the dining room and lounge the amazing roof top views all year round.
The bedroom is located on the first two floors of the house:
On the ground floor you will find the master bedroom with its double bed and modern fireplace. Leading off this bedroom is a large bedroom with a double bed. There is also a bathroom, a toilet, a bidet and a sink beneath a beautiful bricked ceiling (characteristic for this region) and a small utility room with a washing machine and ironing facilities.
On the second floor there are two adjoining bedrooms: one with a double bed; the second with 2 single beds Your third bathroom is also on this floor. It contains twin sinks as well as a large shower, toilet and bidet.
In the courtyard there was a couple leading into what was originally the cellar. Here you can find golf equipment, if you want to visit one of our local golf courses; Le Betulle, Canavese Golf & Country club and Cavaglia are all within a 30 minute drive from the house.
Lakes are plentiful in this north-western region of Italy:

Medieval Ivrea, the main town of the Canavese region, is situated just an 8 minute drive from the house and is world-famous for its annual Carnival: The Battle of the Oranges.
Ivrea is crossed by the river Dora Baltea which is world-renowned for canoeing. In 2018 Ivrea hosted the ICF U23 Junior Canoe Slalom World Championships and is considered to be one of the most beautiful venues in the world.
Adriano Olivetti, hugely influential during Italy's post-war period, played an important role in the growth and architectural importance of Ivrea. In 2018 UNESCO named Ivrea at the World Heritage Site, and the museum Tecnologic @ mente offers an educational workshop where kids can experience different technology as well as learning
