The property on the outside is just so beautiful. The rooms are fairly sized for the price and the beds were just as comfortable. The shower and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The bad: our tv didn’t work. We asked repeatedly to get it fixed while we were here and nothing. The AC also made a really loud noise every so often.

This spot was great. Cookie who checked me in was so lovey and left a huge impression. She was very welcoming and could tell I had been traveling for a while that day. She made the process super easy and was very accommodating. Room itself was great.

Had high hopes, was okay. They gave away the single Queen I reserved. The new one had a slight smoke smell, with ash burns in carpet, no adjust for Air Conditioner. VIP room credit went towards amenity taxes (why did it go there?) mostly nice staff but probs and glitches, too.

The staff are wonderful and do an amazing job. For a hotel of this size and price, the bar and coffee shop should be open more consistently, but I understand staffing is tricky these days.

The hotel is on a residential block so it's quiet. There was plenty of space to sit outside or in the lobby. The bartender was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and quite large. The only small thing I would say is to add hooks to hand hand and bath towels in the bathroom and near the sink.

Always a pleasure at the Claridge Hotel
I always put my nephews up at the Claridge. It is a local gem and a great location from which to see the sights in Downtown Chicago but away from the hustle and bustle.

Underwhelming and disappointing
We were really looking forward to our stay here, the photos looked great online. Unfortunately we had a very underwhelming experience.:( staff at the front desk when we checked in not warm and looked pretty unhappy to be there. They asked if we wanted housekeeping during our stay- we said yes. Our room was never cleaned during the stay- they showed up 10 minutes before we were checking out. Regret choosing this hotel, it seemed like a great option but wished I chose a different hotel. Pillows and bed not comfortable at all. Shower was very compact and tight. Just disappointing, we will not be staying her or recommending to anyone else.
