Upon arriving I went to check in with my husbands credit card which I'm a user we have the same last name, address etc. and the person at the desk would not let me check in it felt very racially motivated. I know especially in Naperville women use their husbands credit card all the time

Smelly room
I love embassy suites and have stayed here before however this room smelled like it had a water leak it smelled like water build up , mold couldn’t tell what it was we left the room for dinner and as soon as we opened the door the smell instantly smacks you in the face when opening the door I didn’t know why . Because the hallways smelled really clean.

Staff were nice , the complimentary drinks and great free breakfast made the stay Need updating in general, furnishings pretty beat up with a tear in our couch , tables a uffed up and the bed was less than comfortable . Did seem clean enough but would not say excellent , but that's all the bad the rest was great .

Nice area. Hotel needs some updating. There is wear & tear on furnishings. Definitely some maintenance needs to be done in bathroom areas. I rate the staff as poor since we had to move rooms due to AC not working. Given a small room with no notice and no one contacted us the next day if we would like to move back to a 2 room suite. 3 night stay and not happy!!! I expect more with a Hilton name attached!

Poor staff at front desk - advised staff ahead of time (by email and by phone) I will be checking in very late (the next morning) after a redeye flight, but at check-in front desk had no understanding - charged me for all the nights I reserved as a "no show" and then double charge me for a "new" reservation. Took multiple phone calls to have that extra charge reserved. Will not stay there again.
