Understaffed
The check in process was lengthy. Only one person working at the front desk. Several times she called to no avail for help. The line for checkin mounted. I saw the same employee working the entire weekend, suggests short staffing. Once I called to the front desk before bed around 10, with a question, the front desk person was clearly overwhelmed. Until they are properly staffed I don't know if I would choose this hotel.

Perfect location in the downtown area. Close to the train with easy access. The rooms were clean with plenty of room. There are so many restaurants within walking distance and on site if you don’t want to leave. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved that the hotel was walkable from Amtrak station and is in the shadow of the Willis tower. An older hotel that has been very well maintained. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay again the next time in Chicago

I stayed here to attend a concert. It was clean and an average hotel stay. The bathroom was nice. Most of the staff were helpful but they weren't really accomodating as far as being able to extend your check out time. It's also really inconvenient to have to carry your luggage from the parking garage to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was overly expensive especially for the quality of food. Eggs powdered and cold. Dishes were unclean. I'd rate the experience as average. The hotel worked for what I needed which was to attend a concert and go home. 6/10.
