I will change my review if I am refunded for the 2 rooms on 2 nights because of hurricane Debbie. Tiny rooms, very loud, elevators that cant fit more than 4 people and are used up by maids and extremely low toilets.

We were ignored after being told the room would not be ready at 3. I was told exactly at 3 we would be in a room, didnt get into out room until nearly 3:40. We were given room temp water to wait with while everyone else had cold water and not once assisted with our bags. Hair was left in the hair dryer. Just in general not clean. bad bad for what I paid. Still waiting on my 'deposit' to be redunded. Which no one made mention of when I called ahead 3 times. Night time check out gentlemen was the only person who gave any assistance. Wish I had his name.

It started off by getting a room that had a terrible odor. It smelt like someone was sick and they tried to cover it up with deoderizer. We asked for another room and they were helpful to get us another one. The other room did not smell but the sheets were a bit stained and the mattress cover was very stained. We asked for new bed clothes and the night clerk apologized for the inconvenience and provided more bed sheets. Not the right size but they did the job. Unfortunately he did not replace the mattress cover. The next day i asked to get a mattress cover replacement and the front desk clerk didn't seem to know what it was. It was never replaced during the four day stay. We also asked the room cleaner but she did not speak a word of english. She seemed friendly but was limited in her helpfulness due to the langage barrier. Other than the night desk persons attempt, nobody tried to correct the issue. They were helpful with very simple things but overall it was lacking. The included breakfast was nice and the towels were soft and clean. The location was good. However, the room needed a good cleaning. There was layers of dust and debris on the window sills that looked to be there for a while. We stayed there because of the high rating but it was not worthy of its high rating in my opinion. The rooms were very small. Too small to contain a minibar or much of a closet. Just enough for the bed and not much else. I wouldnt stay there again.

Great little hotel. There is no mini fridge in the room. Would have been good since we stayed in the summer. The bathroom sink is qiite small and the little mini shelf directly above the sink makes it difficult to brush your teeth or wash your face. The tub didn’t drain properly so you’re standing in water while you’re showering and if you’re in there a bit the water can get quite high. Other than that the beds were comfortable. The room felt a bit small for a family of 4 with queen beds. Location was great! Walking distance to a lot of the famous landmarks, including the Navy Pier. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, omelette one day of our stay, turkey and pork sausages, pancakes (make your own with the machine), bacon, toast, bagels, cinnamon buns, mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, milk, cereal, yogurt coffee and tea. Great amount of charging ports in the room, and in the breakfast dining area. Friendly and courteous staff. The elevators are quite small for the luggage trolley and we had to wait quite a bit for an empty elevator. Great overall!!
