It claims to be eco-friendly hotel but faucet leaked wasting a lot of water. A/C was so loud had to turn off to sleep. Shower curtain was too short. Left bathroom floor very wet and slippery after short shower.

While this hotel isn't right on the river. It met our needs perfectly. 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Chicago. It was quieter but still close enough to the action. Hotel was clean and had exactly what we needed. Would stay there again

Only in town for a day, so having a smaller room was fine for me and my daughter. Bed was comfy and lobby was nice. Free fruit and coffee in the mornings and it was close to things we needed. I walked to Giordano's for a late night pizza and it was fine. Located around the corner from the largest 5 story Starbucks, which was cool to experience. I would stay here again, if I was traveling solo.

We really enjoyed our time at the Hotel Felix. It’s very centrally located and the hotel is comfortable and so much more affordable than comps in the area. There were a couple of small issues when we first checked in but they were handled swiftly and we felt very well-cared for as our needs were met quickly and thoughtfully. The staff is young and enthusiastic—a lot of warmth and a genuine desire to make things right and ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for their guests. This is the second time staying there for me this summer. I was so impressed with it the first time I stayed there, when I was traveling on my own, when my husband and I returned to Chicago a month after I had stayed the first time, I suggested it and he was equally happy with the experience.

The hotel is walkable to restaurants and CVS. The rooms have all the essentials although the king room was on the smaller side. It’s fine for a short stay. I booked last minute so I ended up with a room close to the elevator. The elevator was pretty noisy, but I still managed to get rest.

The property claims to be a 4* but it is not for the following reasons: 1. No cleaning for 3 days, though I put the card on the door requesting housekeeping to clean the room. 2. The room had no water, glasses, kettle, tea, coffee, or cream as a complementary which every other nearby 4* hotel provides. 3. The room sizes are small. 4. There is no housekeeping on call. There was water dripping from the bathroom vent, despite leaving a message on the voicemail, no one turned up

I love the location. It's within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile. Plus there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Plus you have access to the red line train and Clark St. bus that runs 24 hours.
