The location was excellent - right by red line, very close of Magnificent Mile, Riverwalk, shopping and dining options were endless. The property was clean. I just wished the view was better. We checked in at around 1pm and they were very kind to let us in early. The hotel seemed to be quiet and not so crowded and we got a room with few things broken (bathroom handle door, no sheer curtains, shower head was wonky) and a horrible view to the building next door with almost no street view. We stayed for 4 nights so it would have been nice to get a room with better view, but we were too tired when we got to the hotel to even complain. The service was standard. Overall, the hotel was very acceptable and I would recommend it.

This was my first time staying at the Royal Sonesta, and was very impressed. From check-in to check-out was great, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and Spiro was great with our luggage, food recommendations, and conversation. Our room was remarkable with our suite having a huge jacuzzi only added to the fabulous service. We were very pleased.

We stayed over New Year's Eve. The room was very nice and luxurious .There isn't anything I can say bad about this hotel. The staff was super friendly from the start. The room was excellent. Everything was very clean. Through Expedia we received a free bottle of wine and a late checkout. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again and the Expedia VIP experience was incredible.

Tyren was very helpful printing out theater tickets for me that I had left behind. The elevator did not work for a day and a half resulting in very long waits. Staff apologized profusely for the inconvenience but I would’ve preferred faster response on the elevator by management.

The area is convenient. The room didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. Couple scratches on the door and the bathroom had a sewer smell. Friendly customer service

Staff were extremely helpful and professional, especially the front desk staff and all of the valets and bellhops. Our room was very nice, and the overall property was clean.
