Property was all fine for our initial stay in Christchurch, about a 15-20 Min walk to the actual city center, but we didn’t mind, it was straight down the road. Staff were all very polite & nice.

Good and clean, parking is hard to find and ventilation in room not the beast as no windows. However friendly staff, clean room and good breakfast and coffee in hotel restaurant.

Very spacious clean room. Staff are exceptional. Sincere gratitude goes to Mercy who is not only providing the best custome rcare, but extremely very kind! Sam from the bar & the beautiful Maori girl that made my coffee forgot the name, and all the housekeeping girls were extremely helpful, including the Maintenance guy, hope he liked the whiskey. You are all such wonderful team keeping this place awesomely functioning. Thank you all! See you again in the future.

Price was pretty good, nice clean bedroom, bathroom. Would've been nice to have more bedding though! Parking is frustrating as you have to pay for a park to stay there, then walk a block to it. Not ideal for colder months

The hotel and rooms are very nice. The service really good. The restaurant is a hot mess. At least when we came for breakfast. It took an hour to get the food and the coffee was Luke warm. Another table left after an hour wait I sent my scrambled eggs back - they were straight off the buffet.

I was very satisfied with my stay here at Carnmore. It's close to riverside market, victoria square, BNZ center, botanical garden, and especially the bus interchange. I was greeted by Mercy upon check in, had a nice conversation and she was very helpful during my stay in Carnmore! She gave me a map and recommended me places to visit and how to get there which I greatly appreciate because this is my fiest time in Christchurch, New Zealand. Also, big thanks to my housekeeper, there's daily room cleaning which I really appreciate! I feel very welcomed whenever I come back to a tidy room after a long and exhausting day. I haven't gotten the chance to eat at Hoi Polloi (the hotel's restaurant), other than ordering a chocolate mousse. The presentation is beautiful and the cake was great!
