I ended up staying several days at this Days Inn and Suites and was very pleased with the accommodations and the personnel, etc. Paula, the manager was exceptionally accommodating and explained everything to me, and they looked out for my car as I had to come in a big limousine and needed a special place to park. I would choose this place every time.

Check in was great, very friendly, she offered good food nearby. As for the room, it was sufficient. We did not have a shower curtain and in the morning when my husband was showering water started pouring out of the light fixture, from a leak in the room above. It says it offers breakfast, but it really was just juice, coffee and a biscuit, but there was a great Waffle House just down the street.

It was an okay stay.
Experience was okay. The bleach smell in the room took me a few hours to get used to and the outside smelt like weed every time we walked outside. We didnt have any problems with booking but the bed & bedding (comforter) was very stiff and uncomfortable.

The rooms need some remodeling especially the tub area....the walls are super thin and you can hear EVERYTHING that someone in the next room is doing

The desk clerk was super nice and welcomed us with a smile and made us feel at home. Our room was very clean and if we needed anything they were on top of it. We had a family reunion in Opelousas and we rented 4 rooms. We had no issues with anything. I will book there again

Bring a cover!
Employee that checked me in was very friendly. Room was clean. Room was updated but bathroom has couple updates needed like the bar inside shower was broken and tub was old but was clean. Only problem was no cover. I froze all night because there was only a sheet and the thin top bed spread. I had to use pillows to put in top of the bedspread to try to help. I had heat on but was still cold. Bed was comfortable though, just cold. I would stay again but would bring a cover or request one before going to bed.
