Appon arrival check-in was confusing. Drive up booths with signs did not clearly state check in process. Sat in line for 30m without knowing check-in was actually inside the camp store and not at the drive up booths. Once inside camp store check-in process went smooth and park rules and event suggestions were thoroughly explained. Map made it easy to find our accommodations. Pool didnt seem large enough for the number of guests but the onsite offerings were well staffed and our party had no problems finding what each of us like to eat or participate in camp events. Hickory cabins were very nice. Only suggestion would be to install grab bars in the bathroom shower for individuals with assistance needs. We were told only 2 cabins were available for ADA and both were already booked. If you book your stay through expedia you get a great rate but cannot choose which site you will get. Just something to keep in mind when booking. Kings island is right down the street and shuttle service is available to and from KI. Staff is friendly making our stay enjoyable. It is a camp sight so be prepared for a glamping experience. Our cabin was fully furnished with dishes and silverware included. No need to bring sheets or pillows they are included as well. There will be things that you need to bring with you to make your stay more comfortable especiallyfor inclement weather. Overall a wonderful experience.

Not what I was expecting
Great location, close to Kings Island and restaurants. Stayed in cabin, wait time was absolutely horrible, long line one employee. Front desk was not friendly and not welcoming. But there was one maintenance man who was absolutely great. The camp site was extremely packed, a lot of people partying which wasn’t a problem, it stopped around the campsite quiet time. Stayed because close to Kings Island. First issue, wait time. Second issue, took daughter and her friends and grandchildren, my grandchildren are biracial and one of my daughters friend is black, she was called the N-word by a group of children/preteen. Third issue, bed sheets were not clean. Had dirt and hair all over it, also the couch bed. I kept calling no one ever answered the phone so left message. No one returned my call. Shower also had long hair in shower wall. Last issue, while sleeping, a drunk women was banging on our door around midnight, open door to see what was going on and she tried walking in.

This place was amazing! A little far from the attractions we came to see (Ark and Creation Museum) but it was more than worth it! The cabins are clean and set up so well! The grounds are clean and the amenities are great for the whole family! If we ever come back to the Cincinnati area this is the only place we will stay! Thanks to the whole staff for helping us enjoy every part of our vacation!

My 60th Birthday trip
We had a great time the cabins was great clean fully stocked with dishes pots and pans silverware cups coffee cups there was plenty of activities to do when we was not at the park. Staff was great easy to talk to very helpful and understanding we will be back for our next trip for sure if you have not been i would recommend going and the cabins are affordable as well we haf a great time cant wait to do it again.

What a great place for kids! I found this by accident on a booking app, and I’ll never go through Cincinnati again without stopping. You can cut your time at the park in half and still have a great time! Loved the staff!!

Stayed here for a night before Kings Island. It was about a 3 minute drive in the morning to the park. The cabins were better than I imagined, for the price it was worth it for us 3 adults, and 5 kids. Only things to complain about the cabin was there were ants all over the kitchen counters, the drain in the shower was very slow, and there are no blackout curtains, or blinds on some of the top windows, so it was very bright at 5:45am. Our cabin was very close to the pool and main lobby area. We ate at the “restraunt” and it took a while being there were only 2 wait staff. Would absolutely stay here again. Was caught off gaurd by the $200 hold on the card for damages, but was told it should come off a few days after checkout.

Stayed for one night. The cottage is painted white inside but oils from the one wood underneath are leaching through everywhere and the walls are so dirty with smudges and scuffs. Used earplugs were left on the windowsill in the bedroom. There was no soap in the bathroom. Called office to have some delivered but none ever was. Shower water needed turned off and back on to keep hot water running.
