This “Couples Cabin” has the best long range views of mountains in North Georgia. Gaze at the historic Sautee Nacoochee Valley, Tray Mountain, Yonah Mountain, and other popular mountain ranges all the way into North Carolina perched at 1800 foot elevation!

A contemporary space includes an open main area featuring a large flat smart screen above the living room's gas log fireplace. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind enjoying the leather sofas or in the duel recliners to watch your favorite shows along the wall of windows and the double doors that open up into the oversize deck enjoying the outdoor gas fire feature.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a large gas stove/oven/microwave and is a chefs perfect match.  A side by side refrigerator has an ice maker and an exterior water/ice dispenser. There's lots of counter space with the grand kitchen island facing the views coupled with a dining table all-encompassing the main open area.

The master bedroom features a king bed, large closet and another flat screen tv. The bathroom is bright and modern with a double vanity, tiled shower and a beautiful solid base freestanding bathtub. Just beyond the bathroom is a front load washer and dryer.

MountainTop Retreat is only a few miles from all the attractions Helen Ga has to offer with all the dining, shopping, and other rewarding entertainment spots without all the hustle and bustle of downtown. It’s a private secluded retreat with the best views in the area. Hands Down.

Amazing Views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The views were amazing. The location is convenient to several surrounding areas including Clarksville, Helen, Cleveland and even going further to Clayton and Dillard were reasonable. The cabin had everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable and rooms were spacious. The covered parking was a nice feature. The drive to the cabin does have some steep and narrow roads but once you see the views, you understand. The only bit of confusion we had was that check in instructions advised to retrieve key from the lockbox. However, instead we used code on the electronic door lock. We would definitely come back to this cabin if we visit North Georgia again.

Outstanding property
I never would have believed you could get this kind of view in North Georgia from a rental cabin. Even better than the listed pictures. Absolutely perfect for me and my wife - we loved it and already planning for when we can come back. From the listed pictures I was a little confused, as it is obvious that the cabin (house really), is more than one story, but only advertised as a one bedroom, one bath. So to clarify for those looking at this listing, everything is on the same floor. There is a stairwell leading down to a lower floor, but it is roped off and marked private. There is no yard to spend time on due to the steep mountain side slope, so if you're looking to romp around outdoors here, sorry no. However, the back porch with its view is all you need - you'll want to spend all your time on it. The porch is covered in the middle so you have the option of sun or shade and non covered is great for sky gazing at night. The fire pit worked great. The cabin was super new and clean as of our stay (May 2024). Plenty of comfortable seating options, the bed is a comfy king sized, bathroom was clean, kitchen was very nice. It was the first time traveling that I truly felt at home and not like I was in someone else's space. There's a good sized carport for the property. The cabin is flanked on either side by other homes - they are close, but everything blends into the environment and you hardly notice. It was very quiet and relaxing. Road up is very steep, but doable.
