This charming log-sided cabin is nestled in a quiet valley in the Catskill Mountains on 20 acres of woods and meadows with over 1,500 ft frontage on the East Branch of the Neversink River. Enjoy its 2+ bedrooms, 1 bath, living room with a fireplace/woodstove, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen.

Relax in the comfortable, well-appointed living room. Make your favorite meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy fly-fishing privately on the property, or at one of the several public fishing areas that are within a short drive. Explore the Catskill Mountains with its numerous hiking trails. Relax on the front porch and watch hummingbirds and butterflies. Make memories sitting around a campfire taking in the incredible stars.

Just Perfect!
Mary's cabin is the quintessential Catskills cabin. The cabin is wonderful from the gorgeous river rock fireplace to the newly renovated bathroom with heated floors! It is so peaceful and the walkway to the river is just beautiful. The bed is comfy, the kitchen well stocked and did I mention the heated floor in the bathroom? LOL This is the perfect place to get away and reconnect. Mary is a thoughtful host.

Perfect getaway, despite the rainy, windy weather! We even got some snow. The cabin is immaculate and cozy and we enjoyed watching the fire. Our dog enjoyed it too! Mary was awesome, warned us of a possible power outage and offered a full refund if we lost power. Will definitely book again.

This property was perfect for our winter getaway. It is in a quiet location near several hiking trails. The wood burning stove was perfect to sit around and read while it was snowing. The place is dog -friendly and the owner was responsive.

What a wonderful little getaway
We loved everything about our stay. The days leading up to the trip we received plenty of communication so we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It rained for most of our trip, but we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the covered porch, sitting by the fire and playing board games with our kids. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We are already looking at dates to return for our next unplugged weekend. Thank you to Mary for being an amazing host, we will definitely be back.

My favorite movie is Funny Farm and I was looking for that feeling I get when I watch the movie. Needless to say, we loved our stay at your Cozy Claryville Cabin. Loved the fireplace and enjoyed the warm and cozy feeling we felt just relaxing after spending a day in Woodstock. We loved all the special touches in the cabin, like the heated blankets and the beautiful big bear mugs!! We took so many pictures by the river, gorgeous in the winter! Thank you for the beautiful memories we made in your home!

Wonderful cabin in the Catskills.
This is our second stay at Mary’s cozy cabin in the woods. We had a great time relaxing with the wood stove crackling in the living room and watching movies after we had taken a hike up the snowy trail to the Red Hill Fire Tower (only a 2-3 minute drive from the cabin). Mary is such a gracious host and communication with her is very easy with fast response times. The cabin is well equipped for cooking meals and I noticed some upgrades in the bathroom and kitchen since our last stay. It is a very comfortable set up and I highly recommend this rental.

Charming cabin
Love the cabin, the location and the property. The cabin is located on a fairly quiet road on about 15 acres of property. Checkin process was easy. We were concerned of 4 people sharing 1 bathroom but it wasn't a problem at all. We all had comfortable bedrooms and beds. Plenty of room for cooking, eating and sitting by the fire. The cabin is adorned with antiques which I love and made the place quite cozy. Directions for the wood burning stove and what to do before we left were clear. Mary responded quickly with every question I had. Mary let us snowshoe the property with a few exceptions as to where to go. The map of the property she provided was helpful. The cabin is near quite a few hiking trails which is convenient. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary for sharing your wonderful home with us.

We were looking for a few days of just quiet and it was. Aside from an occasional car the only thing you could hear was the river. the cabin was clean and ready for us when we got there and getting in and getting out were simple as could be. If you come in the winter you’ll want to get the fire going right away but once you do it’s cozy as can be. The one and only thing I’d say is to bring an extra blanket if you tend to get chilly. All in all we had a great stay. Thank you.

Perfect Winter Cozy Cabin
We came with our dog for a cozy cabin weekend and it was perfect. The cabin was exactly what we needed and felt so homey. There was snow on the ground so it felt like a fairytale. Another wonderful holiday spent at the cabin in the Catskills. We had everything the family needed in Mary's well appointed kitchen to make tasty meals throughout our stay. Otherwise, we slumbered on comfy furniture while we watched logs burn in the stone fireplace. As always, Mary responded quickly when we needed her but otherwise left us alone to enjoy ourselves. Cozy cabin with great property
The cabin was just what we were looking for while enjoying the catskills. We tried to keep tv watching to a minimum but it did have one to use while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace after spending the day outside. Kitchen was also staffed with all we needed for cooking meals. Red hill fire tower has a trailhead a half mile or less from the cabin. It was nice to be so close and check it off our list for the fire tower challenge. We also hiked balsam lake fire tower from the south side, only downside for that entrance was the long drive in. The views were phenomenal and made up for the drive. All in all it was a great stay and I am glad to have found this cabin to be our home away from home.

Wonderful cabin getaway
As lifelong gal pals we’ve been coming to this cabin for more than 20 years to enjoy a girl’s weekend in the woods. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! This year, we were treated to a newly renovated bathroom and along with the usual comforts which we enjoy so much. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Getaway
The cabin was a cozy getaway to unwind and enjoy the sounds of Nature. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and explored the property. Took advantage of hiking the nearby trail to Red Hill Tower and hope to get back next year to try fishing. Mary was so kind to work with our schedule when we had a health issue.

Family gathering for Memorial Service
This cabin was the perfect for my brothers, husband and me. We explored the property and the river in the back yard…ate ripe apples that we picked from the tree in the yard. This was the perfect place to share memories of our father, grandparents, and great grandparents this weekend. We enjoyed exploring the school house in Claryville where our Dad had once attended school.
