Get ready to step back in time, read a book by the fire and enjoy this unique rustic lodge. The historic stone building was built in 1790 with many uses over the past two centuries. With recent updates, this building has been converted into living and entertaining quarters. We invite you to The Stone Lodge.
You enter into the main open living space with exposed stone walls, reclaimed barn wood ceilings and wood floors. There's a large kitchen island with plenty of stools for hanging out. The live-edge counter top was built from an old oak tree cut down on the property years ago. Next to the kitchen is the living area with our favorite part of the lodge - the cobblestone fireplace. It's propane gas and easy to operate. The best place to warm up after a long day of snowmobiling or ice fishing.
The kitchen is a dream for a professional chef, with a large propane stove and oven. Do not be intimidated if you are not a professional, the stove is easy to operate and instructions are provided. If you hate to cook and want to focus on relaxation - inquire about a personal chef and meal opinions available for an additional cost.
There are two separate bedrooms. The first room, with its exposed stone wall and reclaimed barn wood has two twin beds. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with exposed stone walls as well. Nights can get chilly, but plenty of comfy blankets are provided.
