3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. This is a refurbished traditional cottage with large garden, located just a five-minute walk into Clifden town. The cottage is situated in a quiet and private location while still being just a short stroll to Clifden's Main Street. Clifden is a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara and offers a perfect base when exploring the region, while still being located close to all services, shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, you are a just a short drive from lots of beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding. There are many walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn. This property is ideal for families, couples, or small groups of friends. Short breaks are available all year round. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more.

3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. This traditional cottage has been lovingly modernised, offering all you need for your self-catering stay. All accommodation is on the ground floor. The accommodation consists of entrance hall, living room, kitchen/dining combined, three bedrooms and bathroom. Access to the front door is via two small external steps. The compact kitchen and dining look on to the back garden and has all modern conveniences including microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with icebox, and electric cooker and hob. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the shed at the side of the property. The living room looks out to the front of the property and is furnished with comfortable seating, fireplace, and multi-channel TV. The bedrooms consist of three double bedrooms, all with ample storage, and timber floors. The family bathroom includes shower cubicle with electric shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail. There is one internal step up from the kitchen to the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Oil central heating throughout property. Outdoor furniture is available. Towels and bed linen is provided. Wi-Fi is included. Electricity and heating included. Cot and highchair available. No smoking indoors. One pet welcome. Parking available for up to two cars.

This property met our needs and was chosen as dog friendly. Dog didn’t end up coming thankfully as garden was not sufficiently secure. Excellent location, Connemara coastal area is stunning, plenty to occupy, food and drink perfect. However, a couple of points: Heating noise disruptive Kitchen floor needs attention Better garden furniture required 13.5 duvet too hot in July!

Gemütliche Zimmer, gute Ausstattung. Gebrauchsanweisung für das Haus bekommt man per Mail und da wir keinerlei Probleme hatten, hatten wir auch keinen persönlichen Kontakt. 10 min zu Fuß in die Innenstadt und 3 min mit Auto zu den großen Supermärkten. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ca. 20 min Fahrt entfernt
