We needed a place to stay near a party that we were invited to. The location was convenient enough. The rooms are dated, and quite uncomfortable. The smell (smells?) in the corridors, badly masked with chep deodorising spray, was incredibly unpleasant.

The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned or made up. There were no glasses in the next room, and the following morning when I asked the young lady at reception to borrow two, she was reluctant to part with them. I also asked her have another pillow placed in the room, and this didn't happen. Ramada hotels we stay with internationally, have friendly, competent and efficient staff. Now we have experienced "Ramada Faulty Towers Cobham". Disappointing!
