Truly deserves more than the standard "five stars"
We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Woodlands Park Hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel itself is a charming blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the beautiful old wood paneling, traditional fireplaces, and the meticulously maintained grounds, perfect for leisurely strolls.
Despite its historic character, the hotel boasts up-to-date amenities. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, featuring a large flat-screen TV and a cozy bed. The room was so nice and cozy we almost over slept and missed our check out time when we were due to leave.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a friendly "Hello." We were particularly impressed by Aysha at the reception desk. She went above and beyond, sharing fascinating insights into the hotel's history and even showing us a collection of old photographs showcasing the building's evolution over the years.
We wholeheartedly recommend Woodlands Park Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay. It truly deserves more than the standard five stars and really should be a ā6 Star Reviewā,
Lovely stay at this historic beautiful hotel. The hotel has so much character and history but also offers a lovely warm, friendly environment with lovely staff. The grounds are lovely and would make a great location for a wedding. We had a look around the local area which I would recommend. Cobham is a little town worth a visit just down the road with lovely coffee shops and shops.
We attended a wedding reception at the hotel as well as staying overnight. The whole experience was a joy from the moment we entered the beautiful reception area, friendly staff, nicely positioned room with adequate refreshments. The food was superb. Would recommend to friends.

We booked a suite for the four of us at the Woodlands Park Hotel a few months prior for the first two nights of our 8 nights visiting my Daughters and Grandchildren.
Having just arrived from an 11 hour flight from America we were looking forward to a fast check-in.
Sadly we were informed at check-in that we would have to move rooms after one night. Only staying two nights in total this was unacceptable. If I had known prior I would have booked our accommodation elsewhere. After 30 minutes of arguing two and fro, adjoining rooms was the Reception Managers final solution.
Having reviewed the rooms we were extremely pleased with the outcome. Modern and well equipped rooms with one room for my wife and I and the boys in the adjoining room with their own bathroom. We were also offered lunch by way of an apology for the mix up and unnecessary stress and in addition two mornings of complimentary full Breakfast. We gladly accepted.
The next morning the Hotel Manager met with us to apologize. He was extremely pleasant and sincere and appreciated his reasoning and professional attitude.

Food was also top notch.
A pleasant stay in a beautiful location and will look at staying again on our next trip to the UK.
Gardens tired. Investment needed on the building fabric. Not enough staff. A little disorganised . Poly was fantastic, as were the guys in the restaurant and bar.
