I come here for my kids. It’s a nice place where they can stay busy with the play area and pool. I wish it were cleaner and that the restaurant had better hours. Overall it’s fun, but need an update

The atrium room is a benefit so that the kids can play and you can sit outside (or inside) your room with the patio door open and it’s safe. However…our room was musty and mouldy. Old toddler snacks/food was left on the floor and the carpet was very dirty. The kids had a blast in the waterslide/pool, and play area. We lost a lot of money on the arcade’s that just didn’t work. This place is kid friendly, but needs a good refresh. The staff were kind, but I was over charged at checkout. When I mentioned it They said they “fixed it,” but then they didn’t change it correctly on my credit, and I was overcharged by over $30.00 in a separate transaction. Frustrated.

Nice hotel nice pool nice restaurant BUT we were not told that a $200.00 charge would be put on our credit card to cover any damages which was upsetting. We should have been told.

The hotel was located close to everything we needed access to. The unpleasant experience was the hall where our room was located was full of all the dirty laundry and bags and bags sitting around thankfully they did get removed the following day. The bathtub was clogged and water would fill the tub while using it, same with the sink. The rooms do need some updating. The best area was the atrium perfect for families.

Most fun hotel with kids. The atrium play area is great and the pool was awesome with the slides. The kids really enjoyed it all! Very close to point Pelee park as well

It’s a great property for the kids to run swim and play, and for the parents to just sit and relax and watch them burn off energy. Breakfast in the morning was great and very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The property as a whole is good but needs a little TLC the biggest being the room AC units which multiple rooms had issues. We had issues with ours and ended up switching rooms. We were offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience which I was fine with.

Property is run down. Staff are doing their best and are friendly and helpful but the facility itself needs updating badly. Rooms are very worn and the pool area is falling apart.

The room air conditioner was not good at all, could not get the temperature until 78.Told the front desk, their reply was that it was in the north area and it doesnt work in that area. Also the pillows are brutal, nothing left of them. No staff in the fun zone,guests were letting kids dance on the pool tables. Not sure why I would ever stay there again.I wouldnt, not at the price we paid.

Best Western review
The hotel is located in a convenient location. Close to the national park and to restaurants. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Only thing is that service is very slow and often not enough tables. Otherwise parking was safe and facilities are decent. Also would be great if we did not have to carry all our bags up the stairs to get to the 3rd floor.

Decent, but in need of some love.
Good location if you intend to visit Point Pelee. 5 minutes from town in the other direction. Room itself was … old. Almost no outlets and no usb outlets at all, very dark with all the lights (mostly little lamps) on, loud ac, a bit humid even with ac, old worn beds. Pillows were comfortable. Coffee available at the front was good when it wasn’t empty .. always coffee in the morning but half the time it was empty in the afternoon. The water slides were a huge disappointment as it doesn’t say on this website anyway that it’s for kids 30-48”… the water slides are what inspired my son chose this hotel for our father son trip and it turned out he’s way too big for them. We had room 105 and it was fairly quiet. Overall despite its age the property was adequate. The front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful.

Always a great property to stay with kids! Staff were helpful and kind. The activities offered in the hotel kept the kids busy for hours. Pool was great and rooms were spacious.
