Not great, but okay.
It was was an average stay. Place was clean, but it took 3 trips back and forth to get room key working in which then resulted with a different room. Toilet would not flush and that was unpleasant.

My flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive until the next day and spent one night. I did appreciate that my room was still available at a reasonably higher rate and the service I received at the reception by Michelle (I believe) was exceptional. I did have an issue with the cleanliness of my room and it also had an odor that lingered during my stay

Convenient distance to UMD. Lots of parking. Avis/Budget car rental is right on the premises. Quite convenient - except that they close early on Sat. and Sun. If you have a rental car and need to take the Metro to go to DC, etc., the Greenbelt Stn is only a mile away. I am not sure if the hotel has a shuttle service to Greenbelt Stn - would be nice if it did, even on payment basis. Breakfast (buffet) is available - but limited in the spread; also, the items in the breakfast did not change much - more or less the same each day!

It was okay
The shower was pretty, but difficult to access the controls without getting splashed with cold water because the door was not on the same side as the controls. The bed was clean, but not as comfortable as I would like. Room service did not replace the bath mat on the second day, nor did they refresh the coffee supplies (only two cups supplied one of which was decaf and this unusable). Outside the hotel was kind of dirty. Overall it was an okay hotel, and you could purchase nice extras like ice cream (at a premium) in the lobby. I have certainly been in far worse, but this was not the best

Do not stay on a low floor, they’re completely mold infested and the rooms smell unbearably. They did move us to the top floor which was livable but still very old and dirty. They have a conference area that was busy with events and took up all of the parking so that you have to park across the street in the IKEA parking lot. They ought to make parking passes and guarantee a space for guests.

Great. Starting with Tyrae at check-in. Had an unfortunate room situation that was quickly resolved. I was provided a different room. Tyrae apologized, and ensured no issues with new room. This set the tone for a positive guest experience. Noemi was unforgettable. She is customer focused, very personable and made sure needs were met and you enjoyed meal. Her staff was great. Breakfast was beyond great, buffet always refreshed, food great, areas were always clean. Tony made great omelets. Enjoyed breakfast to the point I forfeited eating at local restaurants. Overall hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately parking was a challenge Friday and Saturday nights due to onsite events. Parking flowed to the Ikea lots due to party guests. While this was inconvenient it helped that staff were apologetic and made recommendations.
