Noise
While the location and neighborhood were fine, we had a few minor issues. Of the issues was the amount of small ants crawling around on the floor. We did notice some ant traps out, but it did not seem to be helping. The other issue, and the most important, was the upstairs was rented out by a group of gentlemen. They were extremely loud and one of the people involved in our party left at midnight last night because she cannot sleep due to their noise level. For the price we paid for this place and with the noise issue, I feel that we are entitled to a slight refund. Thank you.

The accommodations was not as represented and had accessibilty issues.
We are seniors and had no idea that the property was very challenging with the accessibility. The concrete stairs were steep and we had to make several trips up and down the stairs with our luggage and coolers. The pea gravel was very difficult to drag our luggage and coolers through. There was no mention on the website description that accessibility may be an issue. The scenic view was in the neighbors kitchen. Also, the thermostat for the lower unit was located upstairs and we had no control. We had to call the owners to adjust it.

Great Stay!
Over all, it was great! plenty of cookwear, quiet, clean, and great size! The only thing i would have changed would be adding the amount or stairs outside to get to the unit. (it was fine for us, but if you have bad knees or walking ability, it might not be a good fit for you)

Not ready at time of check in.
Checked in 2 hours late because it was not clean. We had bought groceries and were expecting to make dinner and relax after 12 hours of traveling. Instead, we had to incur the expense of dinner out. The cleaning lady was apologetic, and the house was very clean, but the property manager did not notify us we couldn't check in on time. Grill didn't work. Not pleased with the management of this property.

Very comfortable, nice place!
The unit was well furnished, very clean & nice all around. There are several stairs to get down to the unit, so I recommend not bringing a lot of stuff to pack in & out, and it is not suitable to anyone who doesn't get around well .

Overall good place just temperature issue
Overall place was nice and as advertised, only issue if unit does not have a thermostat so at the mercy of upstairs unit and place often very cold when ac on. Would be much better if had own thermostat.

4th time renting, still best deal in town
I've stayed here 4 times now. Very good value for the money. Two full size bedrooms with there own bathrooms. Large kitchen/living room/dining room area (sort of like a great room). internet is fast. Had several family dinners at the home. Highly recommend it for short or long stays.

This is a lower unit below an upper story home. Nothing fancy and all heating is done by space heaters, but the house was just fine for what we needed. Large back yard which is nice if you had lots of kids or pets.

Wine weekends
Four friends and I stayed here for two nights for a wine weekend/birthday celebration. The only feedback we’d offer is having some plastic wrap or foil in the kitchen and the overhead vents could have been a little cleaner. We also couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace, but it wasn’t really needed, the temperature inside was comfortable. Great having the fans in each room! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious in an amazingly central location
Overall, the space was wonderful and spacious. It's laid out in a way that makes it perfect for a small group. My only complaint is that the garbage isn't closed/secure, so there were several flies in the property, and there weren't any cleaning sprays available for the countertops. Other than that, it was great!

Wine in Walla Walla
We had a great time in Walla Walla and staying at the VRBO was fine. There were a few things that should be addressed but will do that with them. Otherwise, it was a great spot. The people upstairs were nice, (although a little loud with kids and dog) but overall wonderful.

Perfect for 2 couples
2 bedrooms, each with a private bath, a nice kitchen and a comfortable living area make this a great choice for 2 couples to share. That being said, I marked it down for a number of smaller issues. On arrival, there was nothing with any contact info for the owner or property manager, I tried emailing Vacasas address from the confirmation email but got no response. We were hoping to find out how to bump the heat up, get the fireplace to work and watch the television. What we eventually found was that (even though it never really got to be unbearably cold) we had no access to the thermostat, which is located in the upstairs unit. The fireplace turned out to be completely inoperable, and we spent 2 days trying to get the tv to work, without success. There is also very little sound deadening between the upstairs unit and this one. Anyway, it's basically a pretty good property, but needs more attention to detail, particularly items advertised as amenities that can't be used. There should also be access to a property manager or someone to help if a problem arises.

I don't recommend
The layout and space is good and it was clean. But it's kinda shabby. But the worst thing was the noise at night. There must be zero insulation between the 2 units. It's not that the people were particularly loud but you could hear everything even with earplugs at night. Also it would've nice to have a blow dryer in each bathroom and tissues. Felt pretty low budget. There is a very long and steep staircase to get to the unit.

Probably geared more for people with Dogs
The place wasn't bad, but I've been spoiled with some pretty nice with other rental services at great prices. Overall the stay was average for us compared to other rentals, which is why I gave it a 3 star. The place was clean, but not a lot of details on the amenities. The 2 main issues we came across were: #1 the AC is not controllable, after we sent management a message the AC was turned on, but there were times we would have liked to have made the place a bit cooler and couldn't do this without another message to management. #2 the check-in information said we would have 2 dedicated parking spots, this is not true, it's just standard street parking. The walk to the bottom area has stone gravel prior to the stairs. I would recommend to the owners to add some larger stepping stones, since it's a bit unstable when carrying luggage. Per my title, it would be a pretty good place if you had dogs, since I've stayed in hotels that allowed dogs and this was definitely better then places I've stayed.

Nice place, but noisy
The location is great, layout perfect for two couples, but it’s not soundproofed. This unit is the basement of a house that has residents upstairs. Access is a walk through pea gravel, then down a steep flight of stairs to the back of the house. We could hear the residents upstairs walking heavily, dropping things, playing with dogs, etc. Then, Sunday morning when we were trying to sleep in, someone got on a treadmill. If you don’t mind the noise, it’s a great place to stay, but we won’t be back.

Daylight Basement apartment. Convenient location.
I am sensitive to false advertising and find it surprising that the two main house photos on this listing is the part of the house we had no access to. There is no photo here that shows the basement access or steep stairs down the side of the house. The ad should read "daylight basement" and not "lower level duplex". The top floor is one rental and the basement is the other. The basement however was clean and neat - well laid out and perfectly fenced in for our two furry friends we brought along. We would rent here again but wish the listing would have been accurate - there is no reason for it not to be.

Much better than the hotel options!
We were looking for a separate BR suite in Walla Walla. There was only one...not as nice and more expensive. This was a wonderful option. This property had lots of space, was nicely furnished and a big grass lawn just out side the door if you have a dog or kids. We didn't mind the 5 minute drive into town. It was well worth it!

Good set-up overall but kitchen needs a little work
The place was clean and totally fit our group. However, the kitchen needs some additional utensils and pans in order for it to be fully functional. If you add some more baking dishes, a cheese grater, rolling pin, more measuring cups, I would move it up to 5 stars.

Nice place, very clean.
The unit was very nice, spacious, and clean. We were provided with essential items for washing dishes, clothes, and bathroom toiletries. I would stay in this unit again. It was a little confusing finding the unit, and the stairs down to the unit were poorly lit. Also, not having a thermostat in the unit made it difficult to get comfortable, some of the windows didn't have screens, so we didn't want to leave the windows open. All in all...great rental!

The home was clean, well decorated, well appointed.
The home was in a nice neighborhood. We were very comfortable for the entire stay. The beds were comfortable. There was also a ceiling fan in the bedroom, which I loved. There was a nice welcome card accompanied by a bottle of wine. There was an unlocked supply cabinet to make sure we had access to all cleaning products. There was shampoo, conditioner and soaps in the shower. It was a very nice experience. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Thanks!
