Set in the peace and tranquility of the Andalucian countryside, this beautiful villa has the most stunning views across the valleys and pueblos blancos (white villages). The property has its own private pool, gardens and patios. There is a gas barbecue and covered seating area for dining "al-fresco". A great place to rest and relax and absorb the peace , tranquility and views. The villa is extremely spacious and provides comfortable accommodation. The village of Colmenar, located a short drive away of approx 5/6 minutes, provides a good selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, 24 hour medical centre and bustling weekly market. Malaga, it’s beautiful history ,restaurants and historic catheral and buildings is only 30 minutes. Casa Bellavista is an ideal base for day trips to historic Granada, cosmopolitan Marbella, Malaga old town, Nerja, the extensive beaches and excellent golf courses. Well where to start. Angela the host was amazing so helpful and friendly. The setting well you could not ask for more so quiet no cars didn't even hear the birds , scenery straight out of a post card we sat most morning in the dark waiting for the sun to rise what a spectacular sight ,and at night the stars.The kitchen was a good size plenty of workspace gas oven and hob, bedrooms a great size high ceilings so the fans in the we're sufficient. Main bathroom a good size with a large rustic shower.we spent days relaxing round the pool with our dogs in sheer heaven. Can't thank Angela enough for her warm welcome and hope to see her soon .

Spectacular view

The area and views are fabulous and the host very friendly. We felt like the property hadn’t been totally prepared for us as no gas bottle for bbq, no pool towels, no logs for burner and no waste bags. We had to chase for instructions on how to get there. You need these as you will never find the villa without them. The villa is rustic and elements need updating. Sun beds and outside table by the pool were broken. The gas fire was broken and the coffee machine didn’t work. The hot tap in the en-suite sink did not work either. We had no water on 3 occasions which was inconvenient for showering and flushing the facilities. Angela was responsive in rectifying things. If you don’t mind a little inconvenience the villa is in a great location with lovely sitting and dining areas and the best view of the mountains and surrounding sky. Simply beautiful.

Beautiful villa

Beautiful property in a stunning location. Villa had everything you needed for a great holiday. Really enjoyed the pool. But it is the breathtaking views across the valleys that’s the star. Host Angela is brilliant extremely friendly and has loads of local knowledge. She is happy to be always accessible should you need her. The only drawback is that there are a lot of fairly steep steps down to the villa and also steps down to the pool , which could be difficult if anyone in your party has mobility issues. We had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Stunning location

The villa was amazing with breathtaking views. If you enjoy peace and solitude whilst being surrounded by nature and wonderful starlit skies. Then this is the place for you. It was a little difficult to find, but then the best places are! Jenn was really friendly and went the extra mile so you could enjoy your stay. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely villa in beautiful setting

The villa is reached down a steep track so confident driving is needed. The grounds/gardens have spectacular views are very attractive and provide shaded areas throughout the day. The pool was well used. The villas is comfortable and well equipped.

Just amazing views!

We had such a good week! ideal place to get away from the crowds and enjoy some spectacular and ever changing views. We managed to explore the local area and Angela the host gave us many suggestions with GPS co-ordinates for places to visit. It was always a pleasure to return from a day of adventures , to be greeted by one of the friendly rescue dogs, just like coming home. The property itself had everything we needed. A holiday to remember

Getting to the property was a bit of an adventure, but once there you begin to appreciate everything about it. I would recommend the property to friends as it was such a lovely retreat from the bustle of everyday city life. The owner, Angela, was very accommodating and such a lovely host. I would book again in the future.

Wonderful holiday!

We have just had a fantastic two week family holiday staying at this property. The views over to the mountains are incredible, we spent many meals sat outside admiring the scenery. The property is well equipped with everything needed and the owner Angela was extremely helpful and friendly. We made good use of the pool, just right for cooling down in during the 40° temperatures!! There are two supermarkets a short drive away and the property was a great base for our days out visiting Ronda, Granada, Gibraltar, Marbella and much more. We were very sad to leave and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to experience the real Andalusia.

It took a few emails and phone calls before we left to get the directions, but after we arrived Angela was very helpful. Such a lovely property which suited us very well. It is isolated, so be prepared for a taxi run to and from the village if you want to eat out. Angela provided info on where to eat, and trip advisor saw us right. Fantastic views and a great spot to base yourself to explore the area which is lovely. The road down to the villa is a bit scary but we got used to it by the end. The house could do with a bit of upgrading- my bed collapsed in the middle of the night, the bathroom door didn't work, resulting in someone getting locked in, kitchen utensils could do with being renewed etc. But the space, views, pool and weather resulted in a fabulous holiday

Thankyou Angela we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your villa. We loved collecting eggs from the chickens and grapes from the hanging vines. The pool was an essential relief from the blazing August heat. I think a guest book that stays at the apartment would be a really good way of passing on advice such as the best beaches, sites and restaurants to visit. Would definitely recommend this property

Winning views!

My husband, our young son (9 mos) and I spent a month here and we had a lovely stay! Well appointed, private location with an amazing view, exactly as in the pictures!The property is easy to get to from the airport - though the last five kms of narrow, windy road were mildly terrifying for us at first we quickly got used to it. We stayed in February so the weather was a bit chilly and we were happy to have the wood stove in the living room which kept us quite cozy. Angela is friendly and helpful when we had questions and otherwise left us to do our own thing, exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for a great stay :)

Angela and her husband couldn't have been more helpful or responsive. Angela came to see us and gave recommendations for local beauty spots and places to eat. The chickens were a real hit with our teenagers and the fresh eggs every morning were the highlight of the holiday. The place was beautiful, rustic and quiet albeit with a precarious drive/road down to it! Would definitely recommend Angela, the house, the chickens and the area, we had the very much needed rest and holiday required.

Very pretty & charming villa with inspirational views

We have had a wonderful time at Casa Bellavista! The surrounding views are inspirational and ever changing with the light of the day! It is worth waking early to see the sunrise over La Maroma mountain - spectactular! We loved the villa and found it chaming and very comfortable and spent most days splashing in the pool and enjoying barbecues or playing family games - there are plenty provided. Our daughter also loved feeding the chickens, checking on the geckos each day in the tree house and playing on the slide & trampoline. Although connected to the larger farmhouse we found our villa private and not disturbed at all by our neighbour guests - in fact we wondered if they were actually there! Colmenar is a lovely village and the local shop stocked lovely fresh fruit & vegetables and all the things you would need. We would recomend a visit to Ronda which, although a couple of hours drive away further inland, is well worth it as it is so very beautiful and so interesting. Take the horse & carriage ride first. The drive is beautiful too and through some stunning scenery and farmland. We will definitely be back and have fallen in love with the area 🍊😎☀️🐐🍉🍷☀️🌴

House with a view to see

Angela is very nice et reactive. The area is very calm and we slept well. We managed to visit a lot of great sites thanks to the house central location. One thing to be improved is perhaps the water flow.

Tranquilidad y paisaje

Hemos estado en familia pasando el puente de diciembre. Llegamos a Colmenar con una niebla muy cerrada, menos mal que Ángela nos estuvo esperando para guiarnos a la casa que estaba a 5km del pueblo. Si no, hubiera sido un poco difícil pues está escondida y situada en la ladera de la montaña. Nuestra sorpresa al día siguiente, fue al despertar comprobar la tranquilidad del lugar y aquellas espectaculares vistas frente a la casa. La casa está equipada y con buen gusto en cuanto a decoración. Sería fantástico volver en verano para disfrutar de la piscina en ese maravilloso sitio.

Lovely spot and view

You get what you pay for here. It’s a lovely spot with a private pool and wonderful view. The accommodation is dated, but everything works. The owner is extremely efficient and helpful. We were just 2 people and it was a great price, à family group would have a very inexpensive holiday. The cottage is attached to a much larger property which is also let. This was a surprise but it was fine. The WCs cannot accept paper, this was the one thing that would stop us returning. Overall a pleasant relaxing stay.
