We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Maybe it was bad luck but we had numerous problems. The cover from the toilet flush was missing on the first day because it had been damaged before our arrival. We didn't have any hot water for half a day because of plumbing problems. There was no black tea available at breakfast.

We stayed in this really nice hotel in the heart of Cologne for 2 nights just before Christmas. It was within walking distance of all the sites and Christmas Markets, which made it really easy and convenient for us. The location was near a busy street with shops and restaurants but was quiet. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was included and there was a good array of items available. This was a really good and convenient added extra as we noticed that other local places to eat for breakfast didn’t open as early as we would like and would have been expensive and time consuming. The room was clean, tidy and a good size and we had a view of the Cathedral.

Had booked larger Comfort Double room, but the TV didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room on the 3rd floor. Got downgraded to a standard smaller room on 2nd floor where tv & Wi-Fi ok. Staff were helpful, location perfect, breakfast excellent.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and a good size. Everything is very close and easily walkable.There was a bit of smell that was coming from the bathroom but not a deal breaker. Great place to stay with a great breakfast available.

Great location. Close to everything we wanted to see. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Disappointing in terms of the breakfast provided, limited selection that was not replenished when used up. I also asked for a gluten free diet on booking and nothing was available. Room as expected, shower water pressure was poor and the hot water limited.

Great stay to be in the city centre of Cologne. Close walking distance to everything and was able to store our bags as we arrived earlier than check in time. Staff is friendly and breakfast was very good! Would recommend!

Loved the location, walking distance to the cathedral, Rhine river, train station. In the heart of old town. Breakfast was super. Only complaints are that the elevator was out of order and inless you took a shower in off hours, there was no hot water. We would rebook this hotel if we return to Cologne.
