Iā€™ll start with the room. It was great! Lots of room. Little kitchen. Roomier bathroom area. Big bed. Very nice. This was a last minute decision to stay in the area. Lots of history and walking trails. Wasnā€™t many rooms available in the area at time of decision. I donā€™t get into the whole Casino thing. It stinks. Parking was awful. The doors to enter are closer to the front of building on the main road and parking lot is in back. It was raining so had to unpack car while getting wet and walk it around the building to enter. The front desk is in the loud casino. It had one person working it. Donā€™t think I would go back to this place but thatā€™s just me.

Friendly place!
Comfortable beds, large room, nice shower. Not recommended for handicapped, lots of steps throughout property. The casino is small, but nice. Very friendly staff! Great breakfast!

Everything was great except both mattresses in our room had dips on the nightstand side from body indentions. They need flipping or replacement. The restaurant & breakfast was nice and has daily dinner specials. With the casino directly under the hotel room, there was a muffled sound until late night. However, they do provide ear plugs to solve that issue. Did not do any gambling, but the have slots and table games to enjoy. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. We loved the Cripple Creek area. If you have the proper vehicle, the Shelf and Phantom Canyon roads are a must! The highlight of our stay.

We liked the friendly staff, the dinnet and breakfast, especially with perks. Lobby and floor carpet was old and pretty dirty. The sidewalks up and down the property was lined with smokers and loud, scuzzy guys who were just pacing around. We bypassed shopping on Main St. The mattress was lumpy and sagging. Linen was very nice. Toilet paper holder was broken. Toilet was old and NOT ADA height, so be prepared to sit very LOW to the floor, ladies. From your car, parked far from the entrance, we had to haul our luggage and carry-ons up the entrance stairs, up an elevator to 2 floor, the up 2 sets of additional stairs.... long and hard. For about 3 hours, a guy was LOUDLY BANGING, BANGING on the door next to ours and calling out for the occupant to open up. We finally called security to come. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

A nice stay in Cripple Creek
A beautiful job of renovating a historic building! Much appreciated free breakfast from the menu in the excellent restaurant and additional meal discounts on players cards. Room was nice, comfortable and generally clean, but some more attention may be given to dust in some areas (backs of doors, heating element in bathroom, etc. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great hotel: clean, comfortable, quiet
This unassuming hotel in the casino was actually really good. The room was quiet, nice and dark in the morning, clean, spacious, the bed and pillows very comfortable, lots of room to move around, and felt like it had been recently remodeled or refreshed. Glad that we stayed here. With our overnight stay we received BOGO dinner, and free breakfasts!! Highly recommend this hotel.
