Summary:
Are you ready for an outdoor adventure? We hope so! This three bedroom, three bathroom cabin can be your home away from home, and the perfect starting point for a vacation to remember!

The cabin is situated perfectly for outdoor fun. You’re minutes from the Catamount Reservoir trailhead; head out for a bike ride, or bring the fishing poles and the canoe for a day on the water.

At the end of the day, this cabin is your piece of paradise with a cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub!

The Space:
This house is fairly remote. Cell service is limited. There is satellite wifi at the house that is good for email or social media, but can't really handle streaming.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house, yard and the garage.

The Neighborhood:
This house is located 10 minutes from Woodland Park so you're close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops, but you'll feel relaxed and secluded among the trees.

Please be aware of the altitude and altitude sickness while staying in this area.

This is a dry, wooded area with high fire risk. Outdoor fires are not allowed at this property at any time. The fireplaces and propane grill are allowed.

Getting Around:
In the summer, this house is easily accessible by any vehicle. The attached garage and large circle drive makes getting to the cabin and parking easy. In the winter, snow can make it hard to drive around the area. We recommend 4 wheel drive or chains for your tires.

We loved our stay here. Everything was very clean. The view and location were amazing-it is walking distance to trailheads and a short hike to the reservoir. It has great spaces for everyone. Our only negatives were a couple maintenence issues that had been ignored for awhile (according to past guests' log) and the owner did not answer any of my emails prior to our stay. Not a huge deal, but caused us to have to haul a bunch of stuff we didn't need. The lack of communication was disappointing but the house was great.

Our family of four had a wonderful time. Not far from Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc. (and just10 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants), but felt secluded on top of the mountain. Views were terrific! We had a lovely and comfortable stay.

The most amazing views - can't wait to stay again!
This is by far my favorite place I've probably ever stayed. Waking up each morning to the view from the living room was so magical. The entire home felt so cozy - the hot tub and fireplace were just cherries on top. We had some pretty intense snow checking out and the owner was really fast to respond about roads being safe enough to drive. Check in and check out was super easy and the little pinnable map for guests was a really cute touch! The whole house was full of fun and thoughtful surprises by the owner. Can't recommend this property enough and can't wait to go back!

Very accommodating place and host! Gorgeous view, short 10 or so minute drive into town. Loved the hot tub, and lots of wild life - don’t know if that’s the norm or we just got lucky! Lots of odds and ends available to guests in the event you forgot to pack something. Fireplace in the living room was barely a flicker, but not a huge deal for us. We splurged a bit on this property as there were plenty of lesser expensive options, but I was happy we did! Thanks and hope to be back one day!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We had a beautiful view of pikes peak from the hot tub on the deck and out the wall of windows in the living room. It was very well furnished which was so nice!! Our bed was very comfortable which was really nice!! It was just a few minutes to town. It was the best place we’ve stayed in vacation!

Fabulous Views and Cozy Home
Our family absolutely loved this spacious and cozy home with fantastic views of Pike’s Peak. We enjoyed the hot tub, and porches, while watching the wildlife every day. It is the perfect distance from town and activities while being far enough away in the woods to enjoy all aspects of the Woodland Park area. Thanks again for sharing this lovely space.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It’s a rustic style cabin, spacious and with great views of Pike’s Peak from the deck! The cabin is well appointed with lots of extras—cooler, corn hole game, board games, DVDs. Enjoyed the hot tub at night (star gazing is good on the deck!) The washer and dryer has been upgraded from what you see in the pictures—which was great because I didn’t over pack! There are technically two king bed suites (one is in the walkout downstairs) which allows you to spread out. The loft is spacious with its own bathroom as well. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay!

This house was great! We loved the cabin feel and the views from the living room were fantastic. Hot tub was spacious and we enjoyed sitting outside. Kitchen was very well equipped and we appreciated the basic condiments! The layout of the rooms worked really well for our family. With three bathrooms off each bedroom it was perfect. Comfortable king size mattress in master.

Great Quiet Getaway
This was a nice location for a quiet getaway. We were 10 minutes from a small town where we would shop and have lunch during the day. We were 40 minutes from Colorado Springs. We drove Pikes Peak, which we highly recommend. If you are looking for more night life, I'd recommend something in a city or ski town instead. This was perfect for us at this time because I am pregnant, so barhopping isn't an option at the moment. We opted to cook for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed the patio and hot tub. We saw a mother and her two baby deer every morning. My only complaint is that the mattresses really need replacement. We tried the master and loft and both were old spring mattresses where you felt as if you were in a hole laying on them.

Great stay for view and privacy!
We loved the privacy of this property! It was close enough to civilization when we wanted to grab takeout, but far enough out that we felt like we were in our own quiet mountain oasis. The views of Pike’s Peak were spectacular. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. We did have a few incidents with the carpet on the stairs being super slick with it being such a low pile. It seems like they were doing updates throughout the house, so hopefully flooring is next. The ladder to the loft is NOT attached and we almost had an incident with that, as well. Another simple update that I would suggest are the shower heads. You could tell they had calcium buildup and shot all over the place leaving just a trickle coming out to shower with. The beds were comfortable. A standing fan was in the closet of the master, which we appreciated because we can’t sleep without a fan. There was ample space at the dining table for meals/playing games. We LOVED having such a huge selection of board and card games to play! They had just about everything you’d need in the kitchen, including seasonings, which was great! We did purchase and leave a pitcher because us southerners couldn’t live without sweet tea lol. I do wish that they would install some type of shade system for the hours where the sun rises directly into the picture windows and into the dining room. The sun was so bright in the morning that we couldn’t eat at the table without sunglasses. Overall, one of the prettiest, cleanest and favorite stays. I for sure would recommend staying here and with just a few updates, this place would be *chef’s kiss*.
