Some questionable people staying there. First day, police, ambulances, fire truck with a 3rd floor broken window and 2 bloody people. Indoor pool supposed to close at nine but screaming children at the pool kept me up much later than that. 1:00 am- very loud argument at the front desk between desk clerk and guest woke me up. Day 2 was better except for panhandlers selling flowers in front of motel. Many people with dogs stay there and they were very nice. You get what you pay for.

I was looking for a last minute room and came upon this one. Price was right room is ok everything you need to get through the night nice hot shower in the morning breakfast coffee what more do you want for 50 dollars

Other than your feet being black from the floors the smoke coming through from the other guest rooms and the noise from the other guest Oh In the management getting all up in your face when just asking for towels I would say

Let's see didn't have the room we booked, and jacked up the price from the rate online, plus had house keepers in the room cleaning when we said we didn't want anyone in the room.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The smoke detector had been taken down leaving only the base on the ceiling.. The table wobbled. There was 1 old wooden chair. Each bed had 2 very small pillows. We asked at the desk for more and was told no that was all they had. We paid for 3 adults and had 1 child with us-yet all we could get for towels in the room was 2 bath,hand towels and wash cloths. The chain on the door(for the lock) was broken.. Not even a clock in the room. We will stay elsewhere next time. There are several hotels in Columbia to stay at for the same price.

Outside drug activity
When we arrived a man met us at the car telling us to leave because it wasn’t safe. When leaving for dinner there was a man outside wearing an ankle monitor selling drugs. At checkout 2 women were sitting outside the front door smoking pot. Didn’t feel safe the entire time we were there. Seemed like too many locals were too comfortable just hanging around outside. Didn’t sleep well at all. Overall, room was clean but bed was very hard.

A mistake to stay here
The Motel 6 was dirty, with dead bugs in the corners of the room. Outside we’re typically 3-4 loiterers who solicited money as guests passed through the door. We arrived at exactly the same time a police officer entered the lobby looking for a suspect. It was too late for us to look elsewhere for accommodations, but these factors, in addition to the people shouting in the hallway well past midnight, made it impossible to rest.
