Upon check-in, I was told that someone else had already checked into my room. I don’t know if they had a drivers license that had my name on it or if the staff just missed something, but I was extremely disappointed in the way it was handled. I was shown another room, however, it was actually scary to know that someone was able to walk in and check into my room. I felt like the hotel was not as concerned for my safety as they could have been. They also didn’t seem too concerned about my inconvenience… It took much longer to check in , and I was going to an event And ended up late due to the mixup.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The decor is beautiful and it’s right next to the river that has a walking path that goes for miles! The issue we had was with management and the hotel staff. We were not checked in properly apparently and because of that our room was not cleaned. When we complained at 5:30 they just told us there was nothing we could do as everyone went home already. It was very disappointing.
