Convenient, but ...
The apartment was in a really nice area of Columbus. We were able to walk three blocks to the center of town and enjoy the fountains and shops. The river walk was a great place to visit also. The apartment could use a thorough cleaning. We were asked to not wear shoes inside but we were afraid to not wear shoes, the floor was sticky in spots and dirt could be felt in the carpet. There was food and dirt on the walls in the kitchen and bathroom along with mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the shower curtain. The toilet cycled the whole time which was annoying at night. The pool was not in the same complex and there was no instruction on how to find it. My DIL stayed with us one night and there were no extra linens even though the extra bed was advertised. We've stayed at VRBO's before and normally get check-in info 3 days in advance. I had to contact the host several times to inquire about the check-in info and finally received it the day before check-in. We didn't want to travel without knowing whether we had a place to stay. The apartment was very nicely decorated and conveniently located (20 minutes from the base) and there was an area outside that we could sit and relax.
