Quiet paradise in a bucolic setting

Do you like calm? Long summer evenings by the pool? Admire the sunsets, lying on a deckchair? Then this vacation rental is for you. Nestled in the Lot countryside, on the Quercy plateau, this dry stone house offers 2 master suites and a swimming pool, all completely private. Isolated location, not overlooked, surrounded by greenery, at the exit of Goulème, a small hamlet 3 km from Concorès where you will find the essentials and 10 km from Gourdon. You will stay there in peace, all year round. You will be between Cahors and Sarlat, in the heart of tourist poles, such as Rocamadour, Padirac, St Cirq Lapopie, Beynac, Laroque Gageac, The Pech Merle, Cougnac caves, Lascaux caves ... Boat or canoe trips in Lot and Dordogne, visits to castles (Beynac, Marqueyssac) and places steeped in history will be on the menu for your activities.
Hiking enthusiasts will be delighted to follow the many marked trails with routes without great difficulty.
Quercy is a region in the South West where it is good to live and eat well. There are many Michelin-starred restaurants, but there are also less popular restaurants that offer equally neat and tasty cuisine. The markets of Gourdon, Cahors, Sarlat, on Saturday morning are very lively, you will discover all the diversity that the region can offer you. AOC "Rocamadour" cheese including Cahors wine, walnuts, walnut oil and of course duck or goose foie gras. And we expect less, olive oil in organic culture, work of passionate people who develop a product with finesse, from olive trees selected and planted on the Causse du Quercy blanc.

Perfect getaway
Spent 2 weeks here at the start of July, the house was suprisingly spacious. The house was clean & very well equipped. With temperatures above 30c for most of our stay the pool was essential & very welcome at a nice temperature to cool off. With the garden surrounded by woodland, there's plenty of shaded areas as a relief to the sun. A very peaceful & relaxing place to stay & just what was required for de-stressing. Already discussing a return visit for next year.

Plus que parfait
La maison de Brigitte et Pierre est l'endroit idéal pour des vacances reposantes. Je ne connais pas plus calme. La route qui passe devant la maison n'est quasiment fréquentée que par le fermier voisin (cinq à dix voitures par jour maximum y passent), la piscine est parfaite et la maison incroyablement bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Je recommande sans restrictions.

Un petit paradis ...
Cette location est tout simplement parfaite, tout le confort du chez soi dans un cadre bucolique. Idéal pour se ressourcer loin de l'agitation des villes, la campagne est magnifique et la région regorge de merveilles à visiter ou à déguster. Et pour ne rien gâcher, les hôtes sont adorables et aux petits soins pour les vacanciers ! Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation.

We had wonderful 2 Weeks in the beautyful House from Brigitte and Pierre. Two wonderful owner, who made our vacation perfect. The area around the house is very calm. De notre arrivée à notre départ, tout a été parfait. L'équipement en cuisine est complet avec tout ce qu'il faut en terme d'ustensiles. Les 2 suites parentales sont très confortables et bien équipées, propres, avec climatisation à l'étage. Belle terrasse au niveau de la piscine, qui permet de prendre l'ensemble de ses repas au calme. Cette maison est un véritable havre de paix qui nous a permis de nous reposer tout en étant relativement proche de tout. Brigitte et Pierre sont très sympathiques et disponibles, pour faire de votre séjour un moment enchanteur. Calme et quiétude pour des vacances reposantes...

Au Top ! Malgré une semaine pluvieuse
La maison est très confortable et les equipements sont complets (ustensile cuisine,linges, jeux de société, barbecue, transat...). Isolement totale, vue splendide sur la foret, calme malgré une petite route à coté(peu de passage) . Nous avons pu nous baigner dans la piscine chauffée, 2 fois malgré la semaine très pluvieuse et froide (eau à 24° , température ext 14 °). L'emplacement pas loin d'une randonnée de 3h30 (sentier de linas) . Logement permet d'aller facilement à Sarlat, Rocamadour etc. Propriétaire aux petits soins qui ont répondu à toute nos questions rapidement via sms. Merci à vous. Je recommande!

Séjour reposant dans un endroit charmant
Excellente semaine passée dans cette location tout à fait conforme à l'annonce et d'une propreté irréprochable. La maison est décorée avec goût et très bien équipée, notamment en ustensiles de cuisine. Un vrai lieu de repos en pleine campagne mais proche des grands sites touristiques. La piscine est vraiment très agréable. Une adresse précieuse à conserver.

Maison aménagée avec goût et très bien équipée, tant à l'intérieur (vaisselle, électroménager, linge de maison ) qu'à l'extérieur (piscine, mobilier de jardin , barbecue). Il ne manque rien. Très au calme, sans aucun autre vis à vis que celui des grands arbres et de la campagne, sans être totalement isolé (le petit hameau compte quelques maisons, ce qui a rassuré les citadins que nous sommes !). Region magnifique, très nature, propice aux balades bucoliques. En résumé, nous avons passé des vacances très régénératrices dans cette jolie maison
