Very nice staff and very clean comparative speaking. Hotel standards have changed over the years so possibly 5 stars based on that. We had most of what we needed. Housekeeping only comes every 2 days so 2nd night we needed a couple of wash clothes and shampoo since upon arrival ours was empty. That said, the amenities provided such as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were much better than expected. We will stay here again in the future.

I really like this hotel but I would like to complain about the racist attitude of the hotel staff towards me because I am Asian. I know my English is not good but I do not think the hotel staff has the right to shout at me. I hope that the hotel will take action to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and with respect. Took my son back to Coastal Carolina Univ for his 2nd year. Hotel is right across the highway which made things much easier. The staff was very polite. The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was well attended and the food was good.

Tammy greeted us at the front desk, no smile, was complaining to other worker about the girls who wanted to use the gym. She asked for my license she said & I quote “I guess there’s no colleges in your state your kids can go to!” I said wow yes there’s plenty. Guess she wasn’t happy that Coastal had their freshman orientation. Needless to say, she has no hospitality to work being in the hotel, public business. Someone needs more training especially working at a hotel across from CC. Good breakfast, food worker/mgr from (Boston originally) helped us use the waffle machine. Great location especially for CC
