The restroom was dirty, no one came to clean room when requested. Had to go buy my own toilet paper. Breakfast was cereal and waffles not too many options. Lobby had a hole in the middle of the ceiling that was leaking right next to a light fixture. I haved booked with la quinta before in texas and illinois by far one the worse experience. The pool was closed also, your check in hostess was not that polite I could say he might’ve been racist .

The property offers EV charging. When I arrived, both EV charging spots were blocked by non-eV vehicles, despite abundant regular parking spots. Driver of one of those vehicles was smoking beside their car, I asked them to move (had to inhale their smoke while I had to communicate with them). Also, when people in room above were walking, it created extremely loud creaking, this woke is up earlier than we wanted. We stayed in rm 226

Quiet stay
The hotel was quiet and the desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. My only question was had the carpet been cleaned recently as it felt damp. Clerk was not aware if it had, but maybe the AC drip panel had overflowed or rain???

It’s an old property. Sadly it’s a 2 star. It was clean and quiet and the front desk were nice and patient. Breakfast needs an improvement. Overpriced.

Was on the second floor and whenever the floor above us walked or moved at all the ceiling in our room crackled and snapped like it was going to fall in. Got zero sleep. So bad we checked out after the first night and went to a different hotel. Other guests complained about the same issue. Do not recommend staying at this location. Have stayed at other LaQuinta locations with no issues. This one was BAD. Do not stay here if you want to get any sleep.
