I was upgraded to a nicer room with a terrace which was awesome! The room itself was uniquely designed which was cool. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have two sinks in the bathroom.

Staff and service were great. Place was clean. Convenient location. Walkable to a lot of the sights. There were a couple days that the air-conditioning was not sufficient and they we told that they were having it addressed. Other than that. It's a nice place to stay.

This hotel has a great location. Everything else is just adequate. Furniture a little worn but still adequate. Water temp barely gets hot enough but adequate, room temperature does not really cool down but is adequate. Room cleaning service did not really clean the room, just made up the beds and gave new towels. No clearing of used dishes or emptying trash. Front desk staff not as knowledgeable as we would have liked (said we needed to reserve seats on S trains-not true; said it was easy to get a taxi then an hour later said taxis were a problem). Again—barely adequate.

Good things about this hotel.... #1 - The staff. Honestly every single member of staff that we met, including reception, breakfast staff and the housekeepers, were absolutely amazing. All so friendly, really helpful, excellent English and couldn't do enough to help you. Special shout out goes to Maria on front desk, who was one of the nicest people i've ever met, really helpful and so kind. We celebrated my mothers 70th birthday there and the staff decorated the breakfast table with flags, cake and fizz - so kind of you all and my mother felt so special #2 - The location - you are in the centre of everything! 7/11 next door to get snacks and drinks. Metro station Radhuspladsen is directly opposite (blue line metro) so really easy to get around. Tivoli and central station less that 5 mins walk. Loads of bars and restaurants around. really great location to explore. #3 - Breakfast - absolutely delicious food. Only thing i would suggest is another toaster as one wasn't enough for the amount of people in there. Bad bits - at the back of the hotel (we were in room 523) there is currently (as of July 2024) a building site. Obviously not the fault of the hotel, but our view was just a building site and bins, and the building work started at 8am every morning (think drills, hammering etc) so if you are planning to sleep I would request a room at the front of the hotel as its not great for a lie-in. Nothing the hotel can change though

Great location of The Square. Very friendly staff. The beds were quite narrow and two of them didn’t make for a double bed. Nice bathrooms . During our stays twice in July, one of the three elevators wasn’t working , and in one evening none were working.
