The lady Haley at the front desk was rude and disrespectful because she said she wouldn’t help us because we used hotels.com. She said we’re on our own and refused full service. She told me if I didn’t like it to get out immediately.

We chose this property because it was on the beach. The beavh is not private though. Everyday the beach was full of cars and people. We had a hard time finding a spot to claim on the sand and ended up going down the road to the National Seashore reserve and paying to be on a less crowded beach. The property itself was in disarray. Tiles were uneven and many were broken, there was tape holding things together, the windows and rooms were filthy, the carpet in the hall was full of stains. There was lots of deferred maintenance. the over all condition of the building was that of a 1 or 2 star hotel. The hotel also charges for everythg on top of the room price. There were beach loungers but you had to pay for them. There was parking, but you had to pay an additional fee for that. Then there was a "breakfast" but it costs $13 a person and was nothing more than what most properties offer as a free continental breakfast. My family and I travel often; we usually stay in IHG or Marriott properties. We gave the Wyndham a chance because of its location. We will definitely not make the mistake of staying at one of these properties again.

The best part was being able to walk to the water.
This hotel was among the top two worst hotels we have ever stayed at. Our room stilled had something smeared all over the ottoman, our toilet ran constantly making it unable to be flushed, every towel we had was dirty, and some with hair still in them. We ran out of toilet paper because all that was there was what was left on the roll. Could not get anyone to answer at the front desk so we went down, stood there 15 mins waiting and no one. My husband finally went behind the wall where the towels were and grabbed a roll. The beds are hard as rocks. There was a medical emergency right out the front door, and when we came back hours later there was still blood in the loading and unloading area, they didn’t even bother to clean it up. The pool had pieces of tile falling off into the water. We talked to numerous people on the elevators, and everyone was having problems. One man was moved because his shower didn’t work, someone else had to go downstairs and get a plunger. This hotel is not being cared for and it shows. We were there 4 nights and it cost us just over $1000. I would have spent that money somewhere else if I would have known how awful this would have been.
