Cosby cabin
This is our second stay at the cabin. The first being January 2021, the cabin in my opinion has went down hill since our last stay. They have updated the furniture which was a plus, it was very quiet and peaceful. The only complaint I really have is the rodent problem. There were sticky traps under the bathroom sink that had been well used and was noisy at night because they would get stuck for a short while make a lot of noise then get unstuck. The extra blankets in the closet smelled of urine and the house smelled of mold. If they would get the rodent situation under control it would be a great little place to stay again. Overall I enjoy the place it's close to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge but still in the country

Peaceful cabin on the creek!
We loved the fact it was right on the creek. Our 3 year old loved the creek and the hot tub as well! It was so peaceful! Around 30 minutes from Gatlinburg! A dollar general right down the road if you need anything during your stay. We went to Cades Cove and it was a lengthy drive back to the cabin once we were done, but it was so worth it! Beautiful place all the way around!

Tidy little cabin with great location
My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin. We especially loved just being able to soak in the sounds of the creek just off the deck. Perfect for 2 adults who just want to chill out and enjoy time together. Access to surrounding attractions was convenient. Lot's to enjoy locally in Cosby as well.

Cabin was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the sound of the stream in the back yard. Nice alternative to the crowds yet close enough to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. If relaxing is what you are looking for, this is your place.

We had a great time
I rented this cabin as a graduation present for my little sister. It was clean and very peaceful. The only thing that I would suggest to the owner is making sure people know they have to bring their own firewood beforehand.

Perfect place to disconnect!
We loved this property and the town! The owner was extremely pleasant to work with. The cabin itself was exactly how listed, small one bed/bath perfect for a couples retreat. I wouldn't consider it secluded but the layout still allowed for plenty of privacy. There isn't cell reception but the WiFi is strong enough for calls/texts if you have wifi calling enabled, simple searches, ordering food, etc. The town is small and everyone was very polite. Again if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to get away this is it!! I highly recommend checking out the local restaurants and the book shop!!

Amazing getaway!
We adored the property, it was the perfect size for my husband and me. A few days before arriving I reached out to Michael about adding an extra day and he made the process to do so seamless. If you are staying there, you should note the wi-fi connection is spotty at best. This was both a blessing and a curse as we wanted to get away but also needed to communicate with the outside world and do a small amount of work while on vacation. That said, we would definitely stay at Michael's place again. It was a great spot for visiting Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg; just far enough away from the busyness, but also close enough the drive to get to attractions wasn't too lengthy.

We will go back! We truly enjoyed the small size and location location location! A little bit of a drive to Gatlinburg but we were glad for that. The Only negative we can say is that when it rained the septic smell was really strong. The smell didn’t dissipate until the rain completely stopped.

Coziest little cabin in the woods. If you want a little cabin getaway but also want an updated kitchen and bathroom, this is the perfect place. A few ants sneak in throughout the day, but nothing too bothersome and they keep insect sprays under the sink. Very enjoyable stay :)

Perfect romantic getaway!
This was the perfect little cabin for our valentines getaway! It was perfectly secluded for relaxation on the deck while listening to the creek flow. I suggest bringing cooking supplies if you plan on cooking in. We brought a large iron skillet and were able to bake in it. You might need a baking sheet, measuring cups/spoons, and a hair dryer. Overall a great rental that was perfect for disconnecting and relaxation with your partner!

Poor communication , and no access to cabin.
Didn’t get to stay at the property as the property manager didn’t give me access code to the property until after midnight, was told by VRBO to book a hotel and I would be reimbursed. I have yet to be reimbursed for this cabin that I didn’t get to stay at OR for the hotel. Be careful with this booking.

We enjoyed the hot tub & the peaceful sound of the creek. It was exactly what we needed. FYI- Googlemap was slightly off on where the cabin was-pay attention to the actual street numbers on the mailboxes & you will find it easily.

The cabin was just as described, at the base of a beautiful mountain, quiet and peaceful and extremely clean. The cabin had every amenity you could want or need. We were able to watch our favorite games on ESPN and had a wonderful drive into Gatlinburg. We found out later on after a small issue with the hot tub, just water temperature, that the water is changed out and completely drained in between guests, that was an amazing thing to find out. The owner and maintenance man were both super professional and immediately solved the problem. Would definitely recommend.

Anniversary stay
The cabin was everything we were hoping for! It was secluded enough that had privacy, but close enough to all that we wanted to see and do. The only thing we would recommend for increased accuracy of the listing is to remove the line about coin operated laundry facilities. They are not on site, therefore should not be included in the listing, in our opinion. Overall, it was a fantastic week and would definitely recommend!
