Very expensive airport shuttle service provided by the hotel for a short 20 minute trip each way. Paid for the return journey upon check in and then the taxi and hotel tried to charge us again on the return trip and only after some time and our persistence that we had already paid did they finally acknowledge. Very unprofessional and caused us distress. Location is very remote, barely anything within walking distance and taxis are very expensive. Only provided with one bottle of water for a day and are then charged an expensive amount for any further bottles. Very expensive for food and drinks. Breakfast was very nice and there was a wide range to choose from with beautiful views. Beach is beautiful but is stony and not white sand , I believe there are nicer beaches on the island. Only excursion possible is on a speedboat. The room was nice and modern and very clean, although we didn’t have the best view. I am normally not a person to complain and had high hopes of staying here for our honeymoon but sadly it wasn’t the experience I would have hoped for.

Underrated Gem
Most hotels barely make their stars. This one deserves more. The staff make the experience. They are brand professional and attentive. Food is great Ticked away in nature with no other places in sight. Impeccable service spa and food.

We loved this hotel! From the moment you walk into the lobby you are impressed with the views. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. Beach loungers with umbrellas! Super big and cozy beach towels. The restaurant and Pool bar were fabulous with great variety of drinks and local cuisine. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Gorgeous location. First class service and friendly staff. Awesome breakfast buffet. Beach area was stunning and secluded. Pool was gorgeous but not heated. The massage at the spa was wonderful.

We had an amazing experience staying here for our anniversary in May. The private beach was incredible and one of the main reasons we picked this place. The property is beautiful and the views are stunning. The service was excellent - everyone was so friendly and spoke English. The food was delicious too! Everything was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

I chose this beautiful property for many reasons, but found myself with even more having stayed there 3 days. The resort has all the fine finishings, great food, service, scenery, spacious rooms, spa, and huge amounts of attention to detail, etc... We arrived very early and the staff made an effort to get us a room asap. We got an upgrade despite being told initially it was booked. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with local restaurant tips and areas to visit. The only issue I have was with the parking and availability.

Staff unfriendly beyond imagination to Americans. Few had any English skills. Shower flooded due to poor design and maintenance. Couldn’t open doors because kitchen smells. No amenities in room. Away from everything. Food is stupid priced and marginal. Breakfast marginal. Car rental was absolute rip off. Charged hundreds over after I left to go home. Hotel set up taxi back to airport and ripped me off. $60 for a $20 ride. NEVER GO THERE. PICK ANYWHERE ELSE. Absolute joke—unless you’re a local maybe… Completely ripped me off all the way around. Terrible experience. TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY

The location is gorgeous and the hotel really does have the Wow effect when you first enter the lobby. My first impression was good - the friendly and attentive receptionist Gloria checked us in. After that, the service quality was somewhat inconsistent. I wondered whether it was because the hotel was understaffed. The prices for food were understandably high due to the location but the quality was mostly good. The pool was gorgeous, and the private beach was blissful. I was a little disappointed as I was led to believe that as an Expedia Gold member, I would be given a better room. Our room was on a lower floor, with sliding doors that opened up to the thorough fare - hence not much privacy there.
