Suggest to put a shower in for the pool and encourage patrons to shower first. Pool is a bit dirty water with lint and hair floating. Children were also entering the tiled area in muddy shoes.

The hotel clerk when we came in Anna was fabulous and accommodating a room that we needed. We are flying out early in the morning and she put us in a lovely quiet room. My husband and I were actually shocked that a Holiday Inn express could be so nice.

The mattress box attached to the bed has exposed metal on each side, which poses a safety hazard. My 2-year-old was injured by it and started bleeding. While a hotel worker assisted in cleaning the wound, I find it unacceptable to have such a dangerous design feature. There’s no reason for exposed metal around the mattress, especially when it can cause harm.

Hockey playing in hallways, kids knocking on doors swearing and throwing stuff at guest doors- staff left it up to guests to monitor chaos and noise- (chaperones sitting around lobby while their team roamed the hotel) It was only an older youth from another team who was willing to point out which ones were the problem. If security had been monitoring none of it would happen. The zero for cleanliness is the bathroom floor wasn’t washed at all.

Staff and security left it to guests to monitor group of kids running around playing hockey in the hallways. When I told them hotels are places ppl go to sleep older kids told me it was a younger team down the hall. After I complained to the front desk the kids started banging in my door swearing. Their parents/chaperones just let them run wild and the manager later explained the coach covered for them saying it was just hockey pucks bangjng doors. Hockey takes discipline and guest services should be on top of this rather than letting guests take the brunt. I choose comfort inn normally - there’s never these problems there.
