Relaxing holiday retreat
Although this rental was not for myself, I arranged this stay for friends of ours. Communication with the host was very easy and always fast with a very helpful tone. The family staying there comprised all ages. Whilst the chalet is certainly of a high standard, it was not suitable for families with younger kids.
There are many unsafe and unprotected drops, with risk of serious harm, at the property, both indoors and outdoors. Also, driving for the first time onto the road leading onto the property, it was impossible to know how to safely navigate the extremely sharp turn, which if miscalculated without exact precision, would cause potential serious damage to the vehicle, owing to the gradient at the road side. My first visit to my friends did indeed leave my minivan with a damaged undercarriage and with the two rear wheels suspended midair. It took a whole team of people to rectify the situation.
Otherwise, the home is slightly on the cramped side for 10 persons. The rooms are not particularly spacious but perfectly comfortable. The views are slightly hidden by the trees but the location is extremely tranquil with a well kept rear garden. I would say that this house would suit a party of adults only.
The host Robert, was extremely nice and forthcoming at all times in the run up to the actual rental period. 10/10
