Rustic and wonderful!
This is our third stay at Shirrae's properties. We're fans. The cabins are comfortable and just as described. For us it's a pleasure to stay outside of town in the wide open spaces and better experience the beauty of Creede. Thank you for making your cabins available to us!

Perfect Getaway
This was our 2nd stay here. Both times have been wonderful. The grounds are always well kept. The cabin has everything you need. The view from the porch never gets old, nor does fly fishing in the Rio Grande right on the property! The private restroom is only a few steps away and is clean, spacious and stylish. Shirrae and JD are great people and excellent hosts. We've already booked our stay here for next year.

Cozy Riverside Get-Away
The property has great amenities and unbeatable access to the mighty Rio Grande, just a short walk away. It’s very comfy, and has everything you need for a quiet little mountain get-away. The Bathhouse is very clean and new, and the staff at the owners property are so kind.

Cozy, Comfortable, Quiet Creede Cabin
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we loved it again. We come to Creede every summer to see shows at CRT and found these accommodations to be just right for our family - close to everything while also being secluded and special.

Wonderful rustic cabin with amazing fishing and hosts
The trip could not have been better. Hosts were super friendly and property is amazing. Old fashioned wood stove added to the charm! Amazing fishing right at the property. Can’t wait to return. Town of Creede is really fun to explore and with the old mining sites

Amazing Location!
We had a wonderful time at this amazing location on the Rio Grand river. Host JD welcomed us like family sharing his little slice of heaven. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the lack of hot water in the cabin wasn't really a problem because each cabin has it's own section of the bath house close by. We are certainly planning on returning some day.

Historic farmhouse
The cabin was well maintained and immaculate. For me, the big draw was the beautiful piece of trout water that runs by the ranch. Fishing was good. One of the most important requirements of any lodging facility is the ability to get a good night's sleep. Individual preferences vary, but for me the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Also, the location is perfectly quiet, so there is nothing to disturb your rest. The cabin was built in 1938 for summer visitors, and as a vintage facility it lacks some amenities one usually takes for granted, such as a bathroom. The clean and modern bathroom is in a separate building, which is slightly inconvenient. Also, the kitchen sink has only cold water. The hosts could install a tankless water heater under the sink, for which there is ample room.
