Good price, Nice location.
For the area and the season the price was good. The shower is really nice and two king size beds that’s helpful. The chairs at the table are really yucky (stained) But for the most part it was a good place to stay.

This was a convenient location to the slopes. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were a good size, al beit outdated. We would stay here again.

When I arrived and checked in, I found that the room had not been cleaned. I was able to get in touch with the owners and they send the cleaning crew over right away. I had to wait for an hour, but due to the inconvenience the owner reimbursed me for my cleaning expense, which I think was very fair. Good place and great customer service.

Love the location- Merideth was great!
Perfect place to stay with our kids to enjoy Crested Butte- love that it’s two King sz beds, and a kitchenette- perfect for our family. Walk to ski lifts, and great bus system to town. I had an unexpected hiccup to our trip when I broke my leg, Merideth was very responsive and helpful with our situation! Thank you!!

Great Trip
The room was perfect for two people. It was super close to the mountain and made it easy to walk and ski everyday. Everything is super close and you can walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are also there 24/7 which is nice.

Nice location, problems with hot water and thermostat
Great location but we had a couple of unfortunate problems. The thermostat in the unit didn’t work the first few nights. On the second night the fire alarm went off and as a result of some issue that triggered the alarm we lost hot water for the night. Not good when the heat wasn’t working as well.

Convenient location
I stayed with my pup for a quick fall hiking stay. Location is convenient right on the mountain. The room is a bit dated, and has some hallway noise issues as the hotel laundry room is just across the hall. The large fan in the room helps with that and to clear out the musty smell from the old carpet and furniture. Overall a comfortable and dog friendly stay! And the Keurig coffee was much appreciated :)

Crested butte
Room was not very clean. There was a face print on the window and hair stuck to the walls of the shower. When booking it did not state that all of the amenities were closed so disappointing we couldn’t use the pool (one reason we booked was for the outdoor pool).

My wife and I have stayed at the Grand Lodge, Crested Butte several times before. I made reservations back in 2018 for the Outerbike event. My wife and I love Outerbike. I even prepaid to get a fair room rate. I didn't think anything about it until I learned the room is a "non-managed" room, e.g. owned by a private person. Basically The Grand Lodge didn't want anything to do with us. They staff was pleasant enough, but that doesn't get us fresh towels or help us if the toilet backs up. The owner/operator was nice, but again, many headaches and just not worth it. Plus, the bed was soft and after four days we left two days early due to all the hassles and uncomfortable bed.

Great location
Having never been to Crested Butte the location was great. Easy walk to the main lifts in ski boots, right on the shuttle route, across the street from a liquor store and small market. Parked the car and didn't move it until we left. The property had every thing you needed.

Great stay!
Really enjoyed our stay! Nice place for a family of 4 ski trip. So close you can take a quick break for lunch and be back on the slopes within minutes. The only problem we had was the noise from house keeping staff at 12:00 a.m. every night directly across the hall from our room. Hard to believe management would choose for staff to be disruptive at that time of night. Maybe a formal complaint would fix the problem. Would stay there again in a heartbeat if not for the noise! Loved it!!!

Great location, nicely appointed
I stayed here with my brother-in-law for a ski weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. It's conveniently located on the main floor, just down the hall from the pool, hot tub, steam room and restaurant. The building is a very short walk to the lifts, where a valet will store your skis at no additional cost. Also nearby is a stop for the free bus into town, which I recommend using rather than driving. The two queen beds are comfortable, offering enough room for our wives had they chosen to join us (but we skied from first chair to mid-afternoon and did not miss them). The unit has a small dining table that seats four, plus some additional side chairs and tables that can be used when the Murphy bed is up. The kitchen area has a stovetop, microwave and a small fridge. If you plan to bring cases of beverages, you may want to bring an additional cooler. Decent-sized closet and lots of hooks to hang coats. Also has a lockable safe. My BIL commented that the carpeting had some small frays (maybe caused by chunky ski boots), but it was minor and I was surprised he noticed it. Otherwise a really nicely maintained place. Staff was friendly. Owner was available and responsive to all communications. Free parking, and free cookies at the front desk during check-in time. I will consider this unit when I return. On a side note, skiing was a memorable and unique experience, and I recommend any serious skier take the time to travel to this mountain. You will not regret it.
