This cozy little property had so much to make us feel welcomed. Complimentary wine tasting, fresh baked cookies, friendly staff and lovely Christmas decorations. It’s an easy walk into downtown with a coffee place and brew yard even closer. Can’t wait to have a reason to go to SLO again and stay here.

Charming lobby and decor from mid-century country feel. Floor plan unusual in ways rooms are laid out and can be initially confusing. Room was very spacious with antique furnishings but bed was new and very comfortable and bathroom quite nice as well.

I’ve stayed at the Apple Farm a few times now and I’ve enjoyed it each time. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, the staff is friendly, and the rates are very reasonable. The bathrooms were large and I appreciated having the mini fridge. Having direct access from my room to the heated pool was cool even though I didn’t utilize it. I enjoyed the cookies at check in and daily wine tastings and hot apple cider in the lobby. Unfortunately, room 100, directly under the lobby, is incredibly noisy. The elevator is very loud and you can hear every step that anyone takes in the lobby. Despite using a noise maker to try to drown out the sound, I woke up each morning around 4am and 5am to people stomping across the lobby and the elevator running. I would stay at the Apple Farm again, but I would avoid room 100 next time.

We were VERY sad to see the gift shop closed and the restaurant only open for breakfast. Also missed the gift of the wooden apple, which has been a trademark of the Apple Farm for years.
