We liked that we were welcomed with a small piece of chocolate. Our room was next to the sauna and hot tub, very convenient. Another huge surprise was that we got to observe Creston’s 100yr birthday parade right outside our hotel.

Has potential (small family owned business). The good - A tea and coffee bar. Looks like they are in process of renovating. The price was right. The bad- The room was HOT - no air conditioning. Main floor street side - the windows didnt have a screen and could open up WIDE, we dodnt feel comfortable sleeping with the window open. So we didn’t get much sleep due to the uncomfortable heat. The floors and walls must be thin because we could hear the conversations and footsteps of the people above us until about 11pm and around 4am the next morning when they got up.

I highly recommend this property for its value, cleanliness and convenience. If it’s a place to lay your head it’s a perfect choice. Free water, coffee and tea in the common area with tables with cribbage and backgammon available. Large TV. Hopefully the outside will get finished and maybe the carpet from The Shining changed. It is on the main highway/Main Street but evening traffic is low.

This is a beautiful older hotel that is currently going Through some renovation. The owner was very friendly when checking me in offered any help since we were not local. The rooms are done. They were upgraded nicely with large televisions with Netflix and all the creature comfort of home. They had a refrigerator, and a microwave. Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the Creston BC area
