Spectacular View
Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay at the Tranquil Lighthouse again and keep exploring The San Luis Valley.

Nice view and location
This property was very clean and the view was amazing! The owner is a good communicator. The lay-out of the VRBO worked well for our family of 9 adults. We did not realize that mosquitos are very bad during some of June and some of July every year. We visited the dunes and REALLY enjoyed our time there.

Family retreat
Very comfortable space for a large group. In early July the mosquitos were so bad we didn’t get to spend any time outside on the property, but we had room inside to enjoy ourselves and cook meals. The view over the valley is spectacular in the morning and after sundown, but the shades must be drawn in the afternoon or it heats up inside. Overall a good experience!

Nice house in a very interesting location
This was perfect for our family, as five bedrooms (and the washer/dryer) came in handy. The binder on the property was great, and we liked Crestone and the surrounding area a lot. It was a bit of a drive to the Sand Dunes entrance, but we knew that ahead of time, and the location worked well.

Beautiful Views
We rented the home for our Spring Break. There was a misunderstanding on my part but Erin was very accommodating. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, the 2nd floor was spectacular with the views. Very peaceful. We had great sunny weather so in the afternoon it did get warm if you didn't close the shades. We were excited to bring our dogs, however, they did not want to climb the spiral staircase. We were able at one point to get them up the main front stairs which took time but overall they were comfortable as well. We hit the Sand Dunes, Alamosa, Trails, etc. Not much going on in Crestone but this is why you rent this beautiful place - to get away.
