Ladies' Getaway
A group of us, friends from church, have been doing a weekend away for 10 years now. This was our 3rd stay at DASLR, and it's far and away our favorite destination for these trips. Always clean, well-stocked, and very peaceful. We enjoy the view, the comfy beds and the cozy two-way fireplace. We can't wait to come back next year!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! More than we expected. Rick the owner was so nice and very informative about the area and places to eat. Such a comfy cabin. Loved every single minute we were there! The cabin was spotless and very beautiful. Had a spectacular time!!

DASLR Vacation
Very clean, well maintained & comfortable cabin. Wonderful views of beautiful Peshtigo river. Kayaks and canoes provided were great for daily adventures, wildlife viewing & fishing. Family enjoyed fishing and swimming off dock and evening bonfires with firewood provided. Local waterfalls were excellent to visit. Rick was very accommodating and responsive to questions.

A Slice of Heaven
DASLR is truly a slice of heaven! One of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had. I truly felt like I was able to decompress and just enjoy the comfort and beauty of the place. I felt "Up North" in every sense of the word. We sat and watched the river flowing on by both from the swing and from the house, we kayaked, we swam, we had a campfire (that had already been laid for us), we saw lots of wildlife including beaver and loons, and had such a wonderful time together as a family. Crivitz and many other sites to see (water falls!) are within easy driving distances. The house itself was spotless, well-stocked, and very comfortable and homey. We loved the decor and the layout - great for having your own space or hanging out in a group. There is even a spotting scope set up for you to wildlife watch as you have your morning coffee! I really can't think of anything else that would be needed there to make it a perfect getaway. We will definitely be back. A HUGE thank you to Rick and Annette for all the thoughtfulness you've put into making this such an amazing place.

Better than expected -- Excellent!
We hunt high and low for properties that have ADA features. Although this property is not ADA certified, it has bath features that help handicapped people be comfortable and relatively safe. Beyond that, this is a great property that is number one on our list when we return to Crivitz. Beautiful inside and out. Bring seasoning for your chef.

We're definitely coming back
The squeaky clean cabin has Northwoods charm with lots of modern conveniences. Plenty of places to sit outside and watch the river flow by. We enjoyed using the firepit, and sitting in the gazebo during a light rain.

A beautiful river cottage with fine finishes. Private and quiet. A few miles to town for Cousins subs and Piggly Wiggly. We enjoyed backroads on trips to Florence, Iron Mountain and Escanaba for lunches and scenic beauty. Looking forward to a future stay.

Absolutely stunning and relaxing! 🥰
Cabin was more beautiful, spacious, and equipped than described. Hosts are communicative, attentive, and lovely. Quiet, peaceful, mostly secluded from neighbors, the perfect place for some nature-rejuivination. We loved watching the turtles come through the property, the otter across the river, using the kayaks, and making fires while watching stunning sunsets. Highly, highly recommend staying with Rick & Annette and at DASLR.

Best view, cleanest and coziest rental
You know the place is amazing when you come back to it. Was here last October for a long weekend and returned in June for a whole week. Amazingly clean, well stocked place with plenty of space to spread out. The River view is out of this world. And thank you for getting a tea kettle!!!!
