Great get together stay!
We had a great time getting together with family from various states; taking time out to reconnect and chat and plan over wonderful meals, walks and times near the water. The farm also offered space for solitary walks and naps, reading or flipping a lure with gatherings over meals. We all loved our stay at Crooked Corner and hold it in mind for a return visit and are very grateful for the peaceful time provided. Thank you!

Modern cons with old fashioned charm
Loved staying at this quaint little cottage. Had the best of both worlds with modern conveniences and old fashioned charm. Was warm and cosy, and big enough for at least 2 families.

Space to play and relax
Kids from 5 to 19 y.o. loved their stay. Swimming every day, playing tennis, playing cricket, riding bikes, flying kites, playing soccer. Feeding chickens. Comfy beds with the smell of beautiful flowering plants off the verandah. Relaxing big bath tub. And all the essential amenities worked perfectly. Thanks Pete.

Fabulous family getaway
We stayed at this property for 5 days.We had originally had to cancel booking last year due to Covid and got 100% of our money back no problem. We were happy to finally get there this year and had a relaxing time.My older teenagers were happy with wifi, clean rooms and great family dining room.Electric blankets were a hit and the host (Peter) had lit the fire prior to our arrival so room was warm.Clean linen, accessible firewood and easy communication with host.He was lovely, non intrusive and we had no problem with security camera outside the main dining area.It made us feel safe. His dog "Jet" is a beautiful kelpie that made friends with our kelpies easily.Chickens were a hoot and tennis comp brilliant. We had mostly adults and 17 year old teenagers who would love to return for a relaxed winter holiday.

A peaceful rural getaway
Our stay at Crooked Corner was truly memorable. We had a fabulous time utilising the tennis court, dam and open spaces. We loved the layout of the buildings and found all of the rooms to be comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were kept warm with the electric blankets, fire pit, heaters and slow combustion fire in the kitchen/dining room. The chickens were a hit with the kids and the fresh eggs were amazing. Our host Peter was great with communication and provided a really unique and refreshing experience for us all. We really look forward to staying again one day.

Pleasant farm stay
Overall we had nice farm holiday. There was lack of light in some areas. This place has a lot of potential some work can be put on to make it stand out. Our 9 year girls enjoyed it the most playing with chicken chasing them out and collecting eggs.

Had a fantastic extra long weekend. Loved the shack, well equipped and just suited our party of ten. The bedrooms were great and beds very comfy. The dogs loved it and it was great that they could join us inside. Beautiful spot even if it did rain a bit too much. Host was friendly and the chickens a hoot.

Fabulous farm stay
The property was absolutely fantastic, even better than in the pictures. The place had everything needed for a very comfortable luxury farmstay including a really well kitted out kitchen with everything you’d need for cooking. Pete was a friendly and helpful host. Local area has lovely farmland and a few nice country pubs to enjoy. Would definitely recommend the place to family and friends.

Lovely stay at dog friendly Crooked Corner
Loved our stay - gracious non intrusive host, wonderful instructions, dog allowed inside and not on furniture - enjoyed walking between the buildings and seeing all the stars - cosy fire and heaters for the cold, effective fans for the heat. I can safely say this was the first stay where not a thing in the kitchen was needed from home. One bar of Telstra at the cabin which meant digital quiet - perfect! Thanks for a wonderful stay

Blissful retreat
Our second time at Crooked Corner cottage and we loved it. So good to be able to take our dogs, who also had a great time. The kids had a ball with the space, chickens and sheep. It is a beautiful area, the bedrooms are super comfy and plenty of space for relaxing in and around the cottage. Kitchen has all you need - my husband particularly loved the coffee. Peter is friendly and helpful. We’ll be back again.

The property was even better than in the photos. Comfortable and full of character. We had planned to visit nearby places but chose to hang at the farm and enjoy the view, the lake, cook, read, play cards and generally relax ... the fire pit was a huge hit. Will definitely be back.
